These techniques actually resemble the standing self defense moves of gracie jj. Kind of interesting.

People could learn a lot from these vids Re Jujitsu as an ART and Combatives Discipline not Point stalling lengthy ground work. I believe Helio said something like "They took my Art and made a sport"..................

PhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucket Allow me to Plug my new DVD's for a second, it's taken a lot of work to compile this old footage and share with you guys. Fighters that have seen my Seminar and other footage have loved it. The first and last DVD Single Disk pictured are very high quality footage 2 Hours for just $32 (+$3 S+H main 48). The Middle two shown are 2 Disk DVD Sets at 4+hrs for ONLY $37 (same S+H Continental U.S.) No matter the level you will learn a ton I am sure and they are a really great value, with nice logical layout of techniques and easy to use refresher menus etc.

Take your STRIKING, GRAPPLING, & COMBATIVES abilities to the NEXT LEVEL! Not some 30-50 min expensive DVD's that don't show anything new to you.    Go to www.TheCombatSystem.com  Still updating the site to take payments there, message me for now at DanTheWolfman@hotmail.com if interested.  Thanks, don't vote me down for one simple plug.  I am making a nice thread for everyone, and please bump it for others!  Osu and good training!

Jiu Jitsu - Praha - 1942 Combatives Jujitusu German film occupied Prague Czechoslovakia

P.S. I am interested in finding a real martial arts student UG member, NON-Troll ever, respected person to Review my DVD's for the UG. Maybe someone that is like a BJJ Blue Belt and has 1-3 yrs Muay Thai or MMA training too? If a few submit I will pick one that doesn't seem to have any agenda or pre-conceived notions about me and will take an honest look at my material and the Value of my DVD's. Cheers,

I have tons more, including some AMAZING Jujitsu stuff, show some support and I will work on posting more. What is TMA vs MMA. Well, if you look at the Egyptian Murals and Murals all over the world (like some in Thailand I took pics off) Martial Arts were, MARTIAL, and to be MARTIAL meant they had to be effective in all RANGES of COMBAT and that is what is depicted. Pankration too etc. What you consider Eh, just TMA should be reconsidered IMO. Some of this Combatives stuff was pretty high level don't you think? People took their Jujitsu seriously for Self-defense purposes...just saying, the GJJ I started learning in 1997 isn't the same BJJ as today. Is your Sport Jiu-jitsu with just a little bit of kickboxing knowledge REALLY Well rounded? Really? and ready for Combatives Real Situations, multiple opponent's and weapons possibly? Just stuff to consider.

Please bump or converse constructively and I will keep adding. Osu!

Thank you, much appreciated. I was plus 12 then for no reason -2 just like that.

I will not live the Karatakas, Judokas, or Gun Fu fans out if this thread stays up for a bit.

Truly Awesome 1943 Jujitsu Skills videos too!!!
