can't say I agree with that, Nishioka was one of the top fighters at 122, Vasquez and Mathebula are both quality wins..whom were tougher opposition then the out of shape and out of prime Morales.

His biggest win was another out his primer in Rafael Marquez. Morales's biggest win was Pacqiauo (after he got beat twice by him) and yes it was years ago but both Nishioka and Morales are the same age. Phone Post

You're gonna get my vote up bro but Donaire (imo) is not fighter of the year.

still, Nishioka did more in his division then Morales did, all that matters...we'll see who they give it too...it could very well be Garcia, because of Morales name...

point is, fighter of the year for 2012...Nishioka is a better fighter now then Morales is.
