thanks for the link Darth, thats some good news I hope that fight gets made. Is Broner with Mayweather at all? Who promotes him?

I'm a fan but really don't care for the singing, when the hair brushing starts and he gets to the first bell to the last, i'll take the end dance too. But not the 'no homo's' in victory speeches lol. That being said im with Broner, hope he doesn't have any daniel PDL trouble though, gamboa still a decent step up from the way DeMarco fought. Don't know what to say about that, bury my head in the chest of Broner and go piniata style performance. Wanted more from DeMarco

Broner a fool for sure lol, but I can't deny his skills, he's a beast...inside toe to toe and on the outside..Gamboa doesn't have the D or chin to hang with Broner imo.

Broner is a GBP guy, but is managed by Al Haymon.

Good way to put it, thinking off the top of my head about Broner putting some pressure on Gamboa, especially when the head shaking and talking starts...yeah.

haha! Are we seeing another defemation of character case here? Only to end in victory for PAC MAN

On a different note it wouldn't shock me though, I remember watching an Ali segment to which a doctor explained something along the lines of slowness initiating a movement while going through a progression of his fights throught the years. Mind you to bring up the same points on pacquiao, I would also have to bring up that according to WIKI, he began in his teens at 98lbs. Last weigh in fight night for Marquez 4 was 154lbs on HBO scale if I remember correct. Sparring partners have also dropped off for him IMO. Also remember Ali's MSNBC interview few years back..

interview
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-3l6diJ2oZ4

Great Documentary on the the tougher side of boxing (alot may have seen this/may already be on thread). Goes through what can really happen to you on the negative side of boxing, and unseen factors of the ring. Name - 'After the Last Round'

Documentary(note that there are 6 parts)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OWoB1ewpyGw

Disclaimer - The Moyer brothers (Phil/Denny) are always tough to watch for me in this, I wouldn't wish that upon anyone.

lol yea the Doc said he saw his hands shaking during an interview or something.

It was sad watching the Ali special on ESPN a few years back, he was taking meds for thyroid issues, and up to like 20 pills a day before the Holmes fight. His main Dr. didn't want him to fight because he looked like crap on the speed bag, but Ali ignored him, and the Dr. eventually left his camp.

what I really want a video of....these Floyd Mayweather Jr claims that every time he and Ali run into eachother, they argue with constant sentences of "well i'm better than you because of this...". I'm no joker though, i'm a Pacquiao fan, but a bigger Mayweather fan and have him as my p4p 1

haha I agree 100%, I get some mean second hand embarrassment from Broner's antics but he's undeniably a magnificent boxer, I like Gamboa as well but I think Broner is on another level, either way both guys are talented and I hope the fight happens because i'll be watching the shit outta it with a big ol' smile on my face.

quick ?

Was re-watching Broner/Quintero this morning. What happened to Fernando Quintero? Broner was his only "loss" (fight is on youtube). Doesn't have a match listed after that, and he's watching Broner be labeled as boxings latest.

I really don't see it not getting made, GBP mainly De La Hoya has been awesome about loaning services of fighters and getting contracts in for fights people want to see so far i'd say. With 50 on the other side, seems done deal too, comes down to Broner maybe? Can't imagine him not feeling he couldn't take down Gamboa.

If I could be wishful with weight and fight for 2013

- Paulie Malignaggi/Juan Diaz 3 - For Cotto
- Bernard Hopkins/Andre Ward
- Gamboa/Judah/Canelo (cool with anyone fighting anyone)
- Andre Ward/Sergio Martinez
- Andrew Fonfara/Mike Lee - For Chavez Jr - For Martinez
(sick of seeing Lee be king of the 4rdrs)
- Nonito Donaire/Rigondeaux
- Andre Berto/Victor Ortiz 2 and Rios/Alvarado 2
- Adrien Broner/Amir Khan
- Mayweather/Guerrero/Pacquiao/Bradley/Marquez
(anyone v anyone, and wtf happened to pacquiao bradley 2 anyway, I felt HAD instantly when Bradley showed up to press confrence holding 2 ticket already)
- Just for me - Garcia/Khan 2 and Danny Garcia vs Lucas Matthyse

Boxing is also going back to DC this year, and I WILL turn off my television before any decision is read on that card.

By Luke Furman Today's press conference to promote the scheduled fight between Andrew Golota and Przemyslaw Saleta, on February 23rd in Gdansk, got very heated but not because of the main event fighters. Polish heavyweight prospects Artur Szpilka (12-0, 9 KOs) and Krzysztof Zimnoch (13-0-1, 10 KOs) nearly brawled after a face to face verbal confrontation. There was a minor tussle, but neither fighter landed punches. During the last two weeks the two fighters have been taking shots at each other in the media. Szpilka was shouting "I will destroy you" as members of the promotion were pulling him away. The two young boxers will collide on the undercard, but Szpilka will first take on veteran Mike Mollo (20-3-1, 12 KOs) in an ESPN televised fight on February 1 in Chicago. "He said something to me, he wanted to provoke me. I do not remember exactly how it went, because I'm still a little heated. Zimnoch is lucky that I did not hit him. I did not knock him out here, because later on he would say that he was unprepared for the punch," Szpilka said.

the Polish Arreola lol..Szpilka is pretty exciting.

Szpilka and the Nightmare I will watch, but im no Arreola fan. For the same reason i'm no Chisora fan, will watch them fight but when people spur things at weigh ins it's a bit obnoixious to me. Don't touch your opponent, you signed up to be tough guy for however many rounds, I could care less how big you go outside of it, you can't knock anyone out with your breath as far as I'm aware of. Risks no fight whatsoever, and if your opponent touches you I don't blame any pro fighter for going back. How are you supposed to feel with a guy who's been training to knock your head off being that aggressive in that sort of range? Safe of being cracked with a sucker? (IE if Chael had cracked Anderson with a hook after the shoulder bang, it is what it is and you took it there). That being said, hope Szpilka gets his revenge, also heavy eye for an eye personality dump right there lol.

For those who haven't seen what Graziano's about. Got alot of power in those hands and potential, would like to see him have a legit match up taking him more than 2rds. Prob having alot of trouble getting a fight IMO. Really hope he's in the gym though, he could bring some more eyes to the cruiser division and boxing for sure. His twitter is alitte off though, gave it a quick look to find some hooker jokes and a bunch that gave me a laugh, but i'm sure did not for the promoters scouting him lol.

would love to see Arreola vs Helenius, that would be a slop fest lol, but entertaining.

hell, Arreola vs Chisora would be entertaining, just the build up alone. Yea I expect Szpilka to win, interested to see how he looks since he broke his jaw last fight.

and not familiar with Graziano, thanks for the vid.
