After 19 months away, after surgery and rehabilitation, Georges St-Pierre found his way to the familiar spot on top of the world. The energized welterweight used his full arsenal of weapons and withstood a Carlos Condit barrage to unify the lineal and interim belts in an excellent performance.

St-Pierre was awarded the judges' decision by scores of 50-45, 50-45, 49-46.

The UFC 154 main event was short on neither drama or performance, as the two fighters fought tooth and nail for 25 minutes.

While the scorecards look fairly lopsided, it was Condit who landed the fight's most devastating single strike when he floored St-Pierre with a left kick to the head in the third round.

Are there facebook prelims?  If so when do they start?

Not a time, just say how long until they start.

GSP will not look good in this fight. Even if he wins , he will struggle. After 19 months off and coming back from a serious knee injury, he will have to battle back from this injury

Condit is the superior striker. He definitely has more power in his hands then GSP. If this MMA match closely resembles a kickboxing match, then Condit will get the better of it. GSP is the much superior wrestler between the 2. He can probably take down Condit fairly easily from a shot.

Condit has an active guard where he chains submisisons and sweeps together. He also strikes very effectively from his back. The key to this fight ids on the ground. Can GSP pass Condit's guard? Look for GSP to attempt Harai Goshi Gaeshi or some other variation of Judo and attempt to toss Condit standing. This would land GSP into side-control and eliminate the need to expend lots of energy passing Condit's guard. The key to this fight will be on the ground. Condit has a great chance at ending GSP's night early while GSP has some of the best guard passing in MMA.

GSP wasn't finishing his opponents before the injury and 19 month layoff, but now he is going to finish a guy who is better then those opponents he couldn't finish? Carlos Condit is a threat in the clinch with strikes, he is dangerous off his back. He is dangerous when he is kicking you and he is dangerous when he is punching you, kneeing you ... He is dangerous everywhere. GSP has the best wrestling in his division in MMA which has allowed him to dictate where the fights take place. When GSP is fighting a dangerous striker with an active/dangerous guard, then having superior wrestling is still a great advantage yet not as effective. 2 guys fit that mold and they are Carlos Condit and Nick Diaz.
