I'm planning on deer hunting in the near future and being that i'm in Socal and will likely have to hike a long distance with my potential kill, I was wanting to figure this out before i'm in the field. I was thinking of buying some goats or sheep or something and just practicing on them (putting the meat in my smoker after). Can anyone reccomend any good videos that show how to do this properly and in detail? I reckon I'd want to put it all in a backpack or something to facilitate easier hiking out of the meat. Guess I could just carry it on my shoulder ala Brock Lesnar but don't know how far I could do that for.
