I tried in 2011 via Leangains-style IF and came up just short at 152 lbs. After deciding that it was unreasonable to lose any more weight, I spent the entirety of 2012 bulking with the intent of cutting again in 2013. I gained 20 lbs. but it's certainly not all muscle. Slowly easing back into IF at the moment. I'll get super-strict after the holidays in preparation for a beach vacation in late March.

I'm 38, so it's pretty much now or never.

I'm in. Probably not going to get a "full" six pack since mine's firmly encased in ice and then kept in a cooler (yes, I'm talking about being a fat fuck) but loosing weight is rarely a bad thing.

not fat but the last time I had a visible six pack was when I was 22 (I'm 34 now), I've been making progress the past few weeks started at 163 down to 158 (not much, I know) but I wanna get down to 150 at best (145 would be best though). All the guys at my gym say with my body type it won't be that hard, it's my motivation that needs an asskicking.

Nitecrawler - So last December I started the "Official lose weight in 2012" thread and there were several people that had great success despite me slacking on the spreadsheets after about 8 months.

However here is the newest "Official" thread going into 2013. I'm kind of the type of guy that if I tell people I'm going to do something, I follow through with it, therefore I have decided to make this thread.

I am 36 right now and would like to accomplish a few things physically that I have not done in this life yet before it becomes unfeasible. Regret is a bitch, and I do not want to look back and say "I should have". Therefore I have decided that I WILL get abs/ a six pack in 2013. I will also fight at least one MMA match before my next birthday.

These are my goals for the next 6-7 months and I ask that anyone that wants a similar goal to check in here and encourage all that have decided to partake.

Make no mistake, this is the year that it will happen. You are not getting any younger and things will just get harder from here. You will have to make sacrifices along the way, and it will not be easy, but glory is forever as is regret. Which one will you choose?

Yeah I ran four Tough Mudders (even had my wife run one with me a few months after she gave birth), a Super Spartan and the Rebel Race. I think everyone should run at least one TM as they are insanely fun and challenging depending on how much you want to push it (actually running it as opposed to walking the whole course as some will do).

Don't worry about flaking on last years thread as I did the same after about 8 months of keeping the spreadsheets updated (sorry about that to those that stuck with it). The good part about being alive though is you can rectify the mistakes you made as long as your heart is beating.

2013 is your year bro! Make it happen!!!!
