....Hendricks has KO'd 2 guys who have never been KO'd before, and Shields' stand up looks like friggen' Frankstein walking for the first time, and he's gonna talk smack?

i think he's just grasping at straws, and hoping to make himself relevant, somehow.

Deuce77 - ^^^ Nick Diaz.

You are joking right? You can't seriously say Nick has done more lately to deserve the shot more than Hendricks. I am not saying I am not excited for teh Diaz vs. GSP fight and I am looking forward to it. But to say Hendricks doesn't deserve it more is ridiculous.

Willy the Coyote -  Nick has done more? He beat three top ten fighters in a row? Oh, right, he lost to the last ranked fighter he fought. Phone Post

The argument can easily be made that Diaz didn't lose that fight. It should have at least been a draw/rematch. Everyone who tries to bash Diaz for that "loss" is stupid. That fight was as close as it gets, and in my opinion he won three of those rounds.but I digress... I have no iissue with this match up. GSP asked for it, and considering how close the condit/Diaz fight was, GSP/Diaz will be a foty candidate.

Condit won all be it by an unpopular but smart plan PERIOD.

GSP will destroy Nick. WTF can he even do but be owned via TD at will and controlled while getting bloodied up? Only thing to do is bet it.

Well you get your opinion and I get mine. I had no problem with his gameplan. He was way more aggressive than people make him out to be in that fight. But he didn't become effective until round three. And if you don't have round five for Diaz then you have to have score it a draw. So why would you think Diaz has no chance with gsp if condit almost finished him, and Diaz just beat condit (IMO)?

And to answer you other question, it's called juijitsu... Nick is pretty good at iit ... and it happens to be kryptonite to wrestling. And getting punched in the face makes it kinda hard to takedown at will. Not saying Diaz has this, but it's certainly not a mismatch, and its not like the decision is shocking.

Um, I gave rd.3 to Diaz I believe and 1, 4 and 5 to Condit. No matter GL with your fighter and you do have a right to your opinion too. Yes I'm betting real big just like I did on JBJ (Vs Sonnen - at about -637 average lol stealing!)and say it's a complete mismatch and GSP clowns him completely and on the ground he owns Nick. $$ in the bank is my thought no question. Have a nice night

Should be expected when you see your friend lose a fight, talk shit about the sport, quit, keep talking mad shit about the champion and get rewarded with a big money PPV title fight by the King of MMA.

Deuce77 - ^^^ Nick Diaz.
So wins over Noons, Cyborg, Daley, Penn and a loss to Condit is better than beating Waldburger, Pierce, Fitch, Kos and Kampmann? Hendricks also has the the higher finish rate in his last 5 fights and finished his top 2 opponents rather than take them to a decision.

Hendricks has done much more and it's not even close. Phone Post

You should explain your reasoning behind that scoring. Because you're sounding like Cecil peoples... or you know... somebody really bad at judging. Condit didn't show until the third. He didn't do anything in the first, so I don't understand how he takes that.. you didn't mention round two, but condit lost that too, but did start to land. Round three and four he outstruck Diaz and controlled the octogon instead of running away and missing. So it comes down to round five, no doubt. And Diaz controlled the grappling, made submission attempts, and just got the better of condit once they went down. Like I said, if you don't score round five for Diaz, you have to score it a draw because condit did not win it. And if five is a draw, and they each have two rounds, motha isn't a decisive victory at all,so as far as I'm concerned, You have no way to back up your three-one scorecard.

LOL at you need to fight me next.

Hendricks is 9-1 in the UFC, beat 3 top 7 fighters, and is on a 5 fight win streak

Shields is 2-2-1 in the UFC, beat 1 top ranked fighter (which many think he lost) by split decision, and is on a 0 fight win streak, losing 2 of his last 4, and is suspended for steroids.

Ahhhhhhh what you did there

I SEE IT!!!! Phone Post
It's pretty open to the public lol Phone Post

wtf no it's not, moran. You gotta pay for that informacion.

Shields is obviously roided the fuck out. Obviously.

SO SWOLL!!!

Lol I'm delusional because I gave a perfect coherent response as to how I scored it. But you just copy and paste what somebody else thinks? Analyse it y imourself and form your own opinions, homie. I'll take your lack of an answer to my question and "good night" as an admission of defeat. Nice try at a debate though.

Willy the Coyote -  Lazer, I posted the play by play scores from 10 sites on another thread. Only one person gave the fight to Diaz(sherdog). Some sites even had multiple people weighing in
The Diaz fans still wouldn't accept it. Phone Post

I'm thinking the Diaz fans are the most delusional. Now that's saying a lot because there are shogun fans out there too. I only hope they put $$$ up to keep my odds down as I get my shit in. Not JBJ VS Sonnen but I see as $$ in the bank no doubt.

Willy the Coyote - Lazer, don't bother. This is what I posted in the thread about Kenny Florian's rankings:

"MMAJUNKIE scored the fight for Condit

Sherdog scored the fight for Condit (2 of 3)

5thround scored the fight for Condit

MMAWeekly scored the fight for Condit

Bloodyelbow scored the fight for Condit

MMAfrenzy scored the fight for Condit

MMARising scored the fight for Condit

MMAFighting scored the fight for Condit

That's the whole first page of a google search for play by play results of the event, plus two.

Oh, and most importantly, the judges scored the fight for Condit. It doesn't seem like it was all that controversial outside of Diaz lovers."

In fairness most fans per polls too scored it for him. We're talking ignorant as hell huggers that can't accept facts here. Have a good one

Woah Woah, buddy, I'm a Shogun fan. Watch your step, son!

Actually I think he has about a 50 50 chance in that fight VS Gus. I think he will use kicks and TD's. No offence but you know your boys are out there saying Shogun never lost a fight! LOl

+180 man it makes you think but with GSP over Diaz and JBJ over Sonnen and knowing Hendo X Machida is coming, well I think it's only about 50 50. How much cash do I want out there right now at what risk?

We'll both be rooting for Shogun bro!

BoilerBrawnByBeatdown - Shields would smother Hendro like he did to Hendo
Shields would be dropped and finished before he could take down Hendricks. Phone Post

Seriously can we STOP with the break down of a fight that was 10 fuckin months ago? It was a damn close fight. And Diaz fans will never accept the decision. There is no point trying to argue it with them. It is a tired and tedious debate that NEVER goes anywhere. Can we just look forward to the future? PLEASE! for the love of god move on.

Yep unless he had a very bad back and had to lose 12 LBS in the last 24 life Hendo. Than he may have a chance

I'll let others look forward to seeing JBJ clown Sonnen and GSP own Diaz.

At least I like the fox card!

WAR Penn, Shogun and Bendo!
