It still makes me cringe to watch press conferences, most recently the Rousey belt coronation/fight announcement.
Once she entered the room, you'd think Britney Spears just walked in or some shit...literally "professional" journalist start up with the fanboy cheers and catcalls. Even worse, not a single tough question was asked, at a time when the toughest questions should've been asked:
1) Does the main event disrespect top fighters Hendo and Lyoto?
2) More clarification on the statement about "Liz being the only person who asked for Ronda." Specifically who turned down the fight?
It's sad when my father (who is a MMA fan) asks me if that was a fan Q and A, and ashamedly I had to admit that in attendance were the "cream of the crop" of MMA journalists.
His reply? "And that's why MMA will never have its Bert Sugar."

Didn't see it, and don't care to, since that's bascially what I assume UFC press conferences are like. Kinda sad really
