New to the boxing forum here, probably is a thread like this but, name your go to combo. The one you pull out when ur up against a new sparring partner and u know he's never seen something like it

Mine is:
Jab > cross to the body > pivot lead hook > cross
Leaves a great opening to a dominate angle cross. Throw the jab cross pivot hook casually, set up one helluva cross to the chin Phone Post

I find the parry their jab with my right hand while jabbing themselves fairly fun. Also the left jab, left hook and right is good.

Jab > cross to the body > pivot lead hook > cross

I use that one all the time.

Another one that I get a lot of mileage out of is the simple

Straight right to the head > left hook to the body.

I could see how u could power out a hook and crush their body. But I hope they ain't throwing a hook off my jab Phone Post

My favorite, highest percentage attack: jab, slip outside to a right uppercut to the heart, left hook to the head. Add a little angle step to the slip against slicker boxers.
Touching that heart always seems to open the head, and may even pull the chin up for the hook.

Left jab, right cross, left hook to the body finish with a left hook upstairs

Double jab, right hook to body, right uppercut

I like those ones. If I throw successive lefts or rights the second one usually gets in Phone Post

Do not worry about "pre-set" combos.

Learn to throw all the punches, with both hands.

Throw combos, but as dictated by the situation.

Hit what you see open with the most appropriate weapon.

I agree. To a point.

You throw certain punches to set up other punches. Say you throw a right hook to the body to bring the guard down and then you come back upstairs with a right hook. You have to work to create openings. Unless your opponent is useless their not just gonna be there Phone Post

Creating openings is a different topic.

I'd say not to get hung up with any one combo. Throwing punches you think might land is never a good idea. Unless it's a jab every punch should be thrown with full intent on landing. Phone Post

A jab is a punch.

It should be thrown with full intent.

Otherwise your opponent will not respect it.  ANd if not, it is useless.

I agree with e. kaye, but I do have some favorite combos, that seem to work pretty well.

jab, cross/overhand, left hook/uppercut to the body.

Left hook to head, left hook to body.

jab, cross, pivot/sidestep right, left hook to body, right hook to head.
