Well we are only a short time from March 2013 and the beginning implemention of the implantable chip as laid out in Obama's new health care law.

RFID is good for you
CursedHand - They could just give everyone a free iphone.

People can ditch those....the tagging has the ability to be a tracking beacon as well.

no need to implant rfid chips,
its all too simple to use them in all items sold, including clothes, for inventory purposes.
once rfid is in clothes no need to remove it, and it will easily provide a way to track individuals both by government and retailers, who will link the clothes to the credit card used to pay for the clothes and any further purchases made for them.
