So this is the time for over indulgence with food and time spent with family and judging by my feast yesterday, it was epic.

The question needs to be asked. What are you fitness goals for 2013? Phone Post

finish my 3 main lifts' target goals. Then proceed to get back into training grappling or thai boxing more. Prepare for more races and at least 3 triathlons. This year I've only done one tri, one Spartan and one Tough Mudder.

I have a few goals:

1. Look into some masters sprinting 100 - 200 - 400 meters.

2. Get back into soccer and or Futsal.

3. Stay as strong as possible as well as injury free on a minimalist program.

Currently experimenting to see if I can stay super fit with only three strength, and three conditioning workouts every two weeks. A total of about 180 minutes of training total per two week period (90 minutes of strength and 90 minutes of conditioning per two week period).

I want to start rolling in BJJ again without injuring my back. I had some herniated discs last year and to put on some muscle in the gym. Time will tell if that will work. Phone Post

I actually sat down this morning and planned out my entire year of training. Exercises, sets, reps, etc. I do my training in two week blocks. I change workouts every 6 weeks. I very volume, and frequency every few weeks as well. Every 24 weeks I take 9 complete days off (no training of any kind). Over the course of the training cycle the workouts will grow shorter, and less frequent. Going to track progress in weights, reps, etc as well as bodywight, body composition etc. Maybe I'll do and update after each 6-week block. First week starts first week of the new year.

Get my freakin' IT band issues fixed so I can run longer than 3 miles. (Headed to the Ortho/sports doc tomorrow for that!)

Century with a decent time on the bike.

Make some improvements in my swimming.

Keep up with at least 3 weight sessions/week

Oly distance tri even if it's in training.

Get WAY more miles on this bad boy:
