actually i am pretty sure that chinups work your lats more than pullups.

I can deadlift & squat pretty good weight.

I can only do a couple full pull-ups at a time (all the way up, all the way down, pause).

Kind of embarrassing when you compare the two I feel.

I took some advice a lot of you gave on another thread, and have started working on it.

I won't be winning any books, not even the softback version.
