from WCW to WWF/E?  He has to have the record.  It seems like right before the Monday Night War got under way, he bounced back and forth many times.

He really didn't bounce back and forth that much. I think at one time Rude hit all three major US promotions in a close time frame but he was in manager capacity as well.

I remember rude being on nitro and raw the same night. One was taped though. I didn't get that as a wee lad and my mind was blown he could BE IN TWO PLACES AT ONCE!!!! Phone Post

And he had a beard on Raw and clean shaven on Nitro.

"What a difference a day makes!"

That was great stuff!

Barry Windham has to be up there. I can count 3

I'm interested in the actual leader. Phone Post

Windham is the one that comes to mind as the most but I think it was way more than three. Just me going off milestones

-NWA

-Went to WWF to form US Express

-Back to NWA and bacame Horsemen

-Back to WWF as short lived Widowmaker

-Back to WCW in Horsemen group that had Sid

-Back to WWF as stalker/Blackjacks

-Back to WCW with Hennig and West Texas Rednecks

Hogan had a run in 1980 with his biggest match being against Andre at Shea Stadium. Left and had his AWA run. Came back and won the belt in 84. Left for WCW and then came back and had a world title run after the Rock match.

I'd say as far as major runs, Hogan would be on top as far as guys that switched at least 3 times.

Pretty sure that when Perfect landed in WWF he stayed until 1997ish and went to WCW and returned to the WWF in 2002, that's it. Phone Post

How about Sid Vicious?  About as many as Windham.

NWA/WCW 89-91

WWF 91-92

WCW 93

WWF 95-97

WCW 99-01

WWE 12  (two appearences, might not count)

I think it was Survivor Series 94 when he was supposed to be on Razor's team, but was replaced by Savage last minute.

"Our partner Perfecto is such a perfect partner that he already tagged out."

Then he was at the next mania as a guest ref to screw Luger over.

The part in bold, I remember him bouncing back and forth, but could be wrong.  I remember Rude doing the same.

I was really just looking for the most back and forth between the two and yeah it would make sense to count NWA as WCW.

The Road Warriors might have the tag team record for that.
