Yeah its about half the costs to go see the Laefs in Buffalo and sadly thats the only way most real fans can afford to see them!

Used to have a blast going to Buffalo and trolling their fans.

I remember one night in Montreal I was at UFC 124 and half the crowd at the Bell was chanting "GO LEAFS GO!" during the prelims. Fucking leafs fans...love it! Phone Post

The refs in this game are absolutely brutal. The guy dropped his gloves and didn't get a penalty.

The positive is Kadri is now 8th in league scoring.

Not too shabby!

Yeah Kadri is amazing every time he's on the ice something happens.

We need to take one game from Boston.

we need some shut down. bozak looking lazy in his own zone. grabo keeps pulling a kobe-light.

defensively, the problem is the leaf forwards all panic and collapse, so the opp pass to the point or high slot and get shots or passes off.

Reimer has been doing pretty well in shootouts lately. Too bad our forwards can't get the job donee

17 games left...man i can't properly illustrate the magnitude of how crucial these points are. At least 2 of 4 against the home and home with Boston Phone Post

I dont think so.

Thats why this slump pissies me off because before you know it, you now have home and home vs a team you have a very hard time playing well against and could end up 1-8 in your last nine!

I mean the over under on how many points seguin scores on us Saturday and Monday has to be what, 4.5.

Over under on how many point Kessel gets? Probably 1.

Not going to be pretty IMO!

Imagine if Kadri was doing this for Vancouver right now, and Luongo was .904 for us.

With the recent extension of OEL at 6 years/5.5M per, everyone in the top 6 of the 2009 draft are on big contracts now except for Brayden Schenn (who still has 2 years left on his ELC, even then has a 3.11M cap hit).

Here are the top 6's current contracts:

1. John Tavares: 5.5M through 2018
2. Victor Hedman: 4.0M through 2017
3. Matt Duchene: 3.5M through 2014
4. Evander Kane: 5.25M through 2018
5. Brayden Schenn: 3.11M through 2014 (ELC)
6. Oliver Ekman-Larsson: 5.5M through 2019

Other notables:

14. Dmitry Kulikov: 2.5M through 2014.
33. Ryan O'Reilly: 5.0M through 2014.

Considering Kadri's play so far this year, what do you think his contract is going to end up being? Somewhere in the 4 million range? 5 million range? How long should it be? I think if he keeps up his play, 4 years at 4.0-5.0M wouldn't be bad at all

If he finishes up in top 10 scoring, I think you have to give Kadri close to evander kane money.

maybe 25 over 5 years I guess!

Stupid that larson makes more than the 5 guys drafted before him!

i don't think he should be making more than tavares, duchene or hedman. 3.5- under4 million is reasonable, and if he wants more either longer years or bonus (making playoffs, etc. ).

I watched the game. He made some mistakes, but overall played pretty good.

I expect him to get better every game out as he gets more comfortable with the increased speed and pace of the AHL.
