hubris - half a season...jesus

Maybe a tad less but usually forearms are what about 5-6 weeks on the shelf?

Lets say 6 weeks so about 45 days.

The teams are averaging over the season 1 game every other night.

So thats going to be a good 20 games or so he will miss.

I just checked TSN and Carlyle said at least 6 weeks.

So probably 2 months which would definitely be half the year!

Definitely like the flow right now.

We're coming out and taking charge, exactly what we need to do every game we have.

time to bring up matt frattin.

kulemin is a quality player, but feeds off of skill and doesn't create himself. macarthur has lost it, and grabo has no rhythm. i'd promote vanriensyk to first line or kulemin. kadri has played really well with frattin, so no lose either way.

There's a lot of good pieces on this hockey team but their still not a complete team. I don't mind a playoff run in this 5 game season as long as they sign Getzlaf
or Perry or wind up with another top 5 pick is fine. Unlike the John Ferguson Jr days with dead beats like Mice Peca and Jason Blake making half ass playoff runs, our prospects are carrying the team, showing promise, and were only going to improve. Phone Post

One thing i would like to see is them decide on a fucking goalie and just stick with him for a while.
This flip flopping is doing nothing positive.

In fact its chipping away at both guys confidence which will only lead to being desperate and overpaying for some one they think will improve the situation.

Like i said with kadri you have to eventually find out exactly what you have.
You may have 2 backups, 2 starters, whatever.
But you have to find out before dismissing either or both. Phone Post

Probably for conditioning. He had a concussion and needs time to adjust. Have no problem with this or sitting out Lupoul for extended time. Both are big pieces for the future and this is going to be a short and bumpy season. Man this lockout was a pain... Phone Post

scrivens is too scared now to be an nhl goalie. he was very inconsistent last year as well; sometimes great and 1/2 the time aweful. he doesn't seem to have the mental strength to deal with the pressure of being a leafs goalie long term.

reimer looks like he could be, but he's not agile and he still makes ahl mistakes, like the malkin goal in pitts. i say dump scrivens, make reimer #1 and bring up jussi rynnas.
