WoodenPupa...that sounds a LOT like what my wife was like. Since here parents didn't teach her, she began her sex life with very warped understandings of things. If you're a girl, and your first experience is a guy holding you down when you're resisting, but you do like the guy and have a crush on him, and it does "feel" good physically, but it's not quite right emotionally, how do you reconcile that? That was her first experience, and it got worse from there because her little boyfriend thought that internet porn, where "porn pushers" are giving girls alcohol, drugs, and some money to do weird shit, is how "the professionals" do it. So, when you're a young guy and you want to "fuck like the pros", but the girl isn't really cooperating, what do you do? It's a fucked up vicious cycle that begins to develop of guys pushing girls toward "roughness", the girl can't reconcile the fact that it "feels good", but feels strange, so she accepts it. Then she believes she likes it. And the guys feel dominant doing it. Blah, blah. I could yammer on.

The horror and rage I felt when she told me that this kid hog tied her and was trying to "knife play" on her at 15 YEARS OLD is still palpable. It makes me ill. Young kids all around us are learning some dark and horrible shit.

"But she wanted it! She wants it!" That's what guys tell themselves. My wife fell in love with me, will do anything for me, and will give me head ANY moment I ask, why? Because I treat her like a dirty little whore in bed? Nope. Because numerous times after I first learned of what happened, I would stop DURING sex and we would talk. I didn't need to finish. She wanted to do if for me. I wouldn't. She mattered more. Then, there was one day when I told her that I was going to prove to her that sex could be amazing in one position. We didn't have to be fucking porn stars. I told her we were going to have straight missionary only until she "finished". It happened. She was absolutely blown away. That is love. That is sex. Not what young people are seeing on MTV and all the porn sites.

Let's be clear. We get wild. We have a great time. Does "wild" and intense sex mean that it's dark, twisted, and violent? No.

ATTENTION MEN! TEACH YOU DAUGHTERS AND YOUR SONS! TEACH THEM!

If that young girls parents had taught her well, and she truly understood her value as a young woman, she probably wouldn't have even been in the situation in the first place. However, if her judgement fails, which it did, then it is up to all of those young men to have a certain sense of decency to conduct themselves with some honor.

Poor judgement + Poor character = Poor results

Some guy -
Timothyk - Okay folks, Flame Away. I was a pretty baked and could not quite word my thoughts quite right. Get out all your pitchforks. Get ready to throw your stones. I am sure none of you have every done anything scandalous behind closed doors. With the way it was presented I have my doubts about forming a lynch mob. I do not think from what I read that it seemed as clear cut as many of you make it sound. Certainly forgiving this man will not work. It is not like he had lead a clean life, of helping others since. I will not visit this thread again. Have a good day everyone.
Give me your address and I will come and rape your mother. I promise to live a clean life afterwards.

Not serious but your comment is ridiculous. Phone Post

If he did do this its obvious that he has made huge steps forward to where he now... So lets talk about what relevant, the present. Phone Post

I find the fact that he's attempting to spin-control the situation by registering LloydIrvinRape.com and issuing 'Lloyd Irvin Rape' Seminar news releases to be repulsive, and indicitive of an intelligent man with no ethics.

The kind of man who would be able to identify an 'Attempted Rape' loophole and lie to fit his criminal behavior through that loophole.

I hope this ends with 'Master' Irvin destitute and shamed.

That's pretty crafty though. I wonder if he thought of that himself or if someone (lawyers) gave him that idea. Phone Post

Scumbag Lloyd Irvin facebook is back up and apparently he had a fun time in Miami.... It's amazing how many people like his post...It's like everyone is oblivious to his 1990 rape attempt...Everyone except maybe the 10-15 of us who are calling him out..

Unfortunately I see Lloyd Irvin striving and even capitalizing on this whole situation..I hope somone kills him with a peruvian neck tie sometime soon.

can someone summarize what happened to the 7 men that were involved in this rape? irvin wasn't guilty, but his coaccused was guilty. another link stated that 2 others were found guilty.

so what happened to the other 3?

if 6 guys are found guilty and 1 guy is found innocent... well in street terms, that is suspect. that points towards the 1 guy cooperating with law in exchange for leniency.

Between 7 and 10 men participated in the rape.

8 were arrested, including Irvin.

5 at least were found guilty (see below); charges against 1 dropped; Lloyd was acquitted.

Michael P. Thompson and Charles H. Smith Jr. were found guilty of rape and sodomy.

Terrence C. Gatling was found guilty of sodomy.

Derrick C. Evans was found guilty of attempted rape.

John H. Scales III - Pleaded guilty to rape.

Robert Ford --- charges were dropped after the victim said she couldn't positively identify him.

Garret E. Miles-- couldn't find info on what happened in his trial, which was scheduled for June 2nd 1992.

Lloyd Irvin--acquitted.

Anyway, sounds like you have a great relationship with your wife. Awesome and congrats to both of you.

The victim identified LI in testimony according to news articles as raping/sodomizing her 98 lb body as another man, Terrence Gatling, held her and forced her to do oral. This was before they discussed throwing her body from the balcony. And before several other men also raped/sodomized/assaulted this underage and drunk child. But LI skated cause he "couldn't get it up". Though, through his own admission, said he was there and had intent.

Anybody else find it odd that a thread essentially putting LI in a positive light making it front page for most of the day? This was after 2 users, commented nothing but "t" and "y" to bump the thread? http://www.mixedmartialarts.com/mma.cfm?go=forum.posts&thread=2092361
Reminds me of when LI purchased lloydirvinrape.com and then tried marketing his rape prevention seminars...

The details and information that has come out in both cases, and the actions taken since is nothing short of alarming.

WHY ISNT THE BJJ/MMA COMMUNITY SCREAMING FROM THE ROOFTOPS !?!?!? Or The national media? A prominent BJJ and MMA coach (head coach of Team Lloyd Irvin, one of the largest BJJ affiliates in the US), has 2 students who raped another student in a parking garage slamming her drunk head into the concrete, causing her to come in and out of consciousness, and then after they finish just leave her lying there in the -church- parking garage and drive off! All recorded by security cameras.

Obviously I wasn't present for Lloyd Irvin JRs gang rape happenings 24 years ago, but the actions taken by him since the news broke that 2 of his students (living in a LI "fighter house") viciously raped another student is incredibly deplorable and self-incriminating.
But what I think is meaningless, everyone involved but LI in the case 24 years ago was found guilty in a court of law by a jury and judge... with the exception of LI (plea deal? Flipped on the others?)

How can anyone defend, rationalize or excuses these scumbags?!? I thought the martial arts community held itself to a higher standard. That we learned about respect and honor. But I guess those with power and "fame" are more important to protect than some unconscious drunk children. Are we no better than those involved in Steubenville OH? "WE ARE MARSHALL!" No, "We are Steubenville!"
(This site gives you the 80% that the national news ins't reporting: http://localleaks.blogs.ru/2013/01/01/steubenvillefiles/)

So why hide from it? Afraid of tarnishing the sport? NOT reporting it casts a shadow on all who participate in the sport; regardless if it's temporarily or if it completely tears it down. It won't, really it has very little to do with the sport. But it does have correlations.
The "man" who was only granted freedom for a gang rape of his own because he "couldnt get it up" though he admittedly wanted to; coaches prominent champions in MMA and BJJ and travels the world doing rape prevention seminars...

So not only did he intend to rape the girl, after he doesn't get up, he leaves and then rats his friends out to get acquitted?

You couldn't sum up a a more despicable person in 1 sentence if you tried. Phone Post

I feel so bad for those girls right now and wish them all the best in life.

I can only imagine how I'd feel after reading stuff like this if I'd have kids...you Mothers and Fathers are tough.

Surely you must agree everyone has the right to determine who and what they want to do with themselves sexually, and not other people. Otherwise you're agreeing that a bunch of dudes have the right to gang rape you whenever they want.

A girl has the right to say no at ANY time. You might have drawn up a position flow chart earlier at the bar; doesn't matter. She can boot you out while you're inside her if she wants, and you're legally (and morally) obligated to GTFO. So her "intentions" earlier don't matter. What matters is that her power to say no can not be overridden by interpretation, orgasmic momentum, prior agreements, etc. Doesn't matter.

Supercan- Thank you so much for sharing your story with us. It hit especially close to home with me- as I have a very similar story that you have inspired me to share as well... I will try to keep it short. Unfortunately, I'm going to have to sub now and tell the story later, as I have been up for 24hrs running off 3 1/2hrs sleep, and unfortunately have a neurological condition that leaves me very likely to have a seizure if I don't sleep and/or eat for a day. Sucks. I had to finish reading this thread though... truly unbelievable, stomach-turning shit. And again, thank you, Supercan... your story hit very close to home with me because we've had similar experiences. Much respect to you for telling it like it is.

Props to everyone in this thread with a mind to tell it like it is, for the record. Anyone capable of committing/condoning any part of the atrocious crimes that LI has been involved in is completely void of moral direction and deserves all the negative energy in the world aimed at them. Nothing this man could ever do would change the fact that he has participated in some horrific and deplorable, absolutely humanly disgusting crimes.

And, thanks to 2Jupes for commanding reason and rationale from the start; and WoodenPupa for the insightful posts, to say the least. And well-wishes all around to those who've spoken without fear, and held to the truth throughout this thread... great to see & be reminded that there are far more respectable, good men on here than a handful of scumbags.

Alright. Time for some sleep, then I have a story to share, too... Phone Post

People like this are rotten to the core. There is no true fix for them. To destroy another human being, maybe forever, is something that should never be forgiven.

There are pieces of shit everywhere; in every walk of life. This scumbag should be executed.
