'Alias,' 'Lost' producers to create dramas for NBC

UPDATED: NBC has ordered drama pilots from Carlton Cuse (Lost) and John Eisendrath (Alias), as well as a bunch of new comedy projects from the likes of Jason Bateman and Dick Wolf.

Eisendrath’s project is dubbed The Blacklist, a project that’s also from Jon Bokenkamp (Perfect Stranger) that’s been described as follows: “The world’s most wanted criminal mysteriously turns himself in and offers to give up everyone he has ever worked with.  His only condition is he will only work with a newly minted FBI agent with whom he seemingly has no connection.”

Cuse’s project is called The Sixth Gun, a drama that’s based on the best-selling supernatural graphic novel that follows the story of six mythical guns, each with its own other-worldly powers.

On the comedy side, NBC ordered three pilots. The first is a multi-camera comedy called Holding Patterns from Justin Spitzer (The Office). It’s described as an “ensemble comedy about a group of friends whose lives completely change after they survive a plane crash.

The next is an untitled one from DJ Nash and Bateman, which is single-camera comedy about a son who idolizes his blind father and is bemused by his mother’s newfound adolescence watches his family come closer together post-divorce.

The third is dubbed Girlfriend in a Coma, from Wolf. It’s a single-camera comedy about a 34-year-old woman wakes up from a coma to find out she has a 17-year-old daughter from a pregnancy she was unaware of when her life was put on hold.

NBC has lately made a flurry of pilot orders for fall 2013, including new comedies from Will Ferrell and Greg Daniels (The Office). The Peacock is also developing a small screen of the 2002 Hugh Grant film About a Boy.

It's a major network, they will fuck it up beyond belief and then blame the source material.

I read there is NO Drake Sinclair and it is only about Becky. Evey time I say Becky, I say it like that broad in the Man U vs Man City commercial. My name is Becky. Chips are up!
