TheFlood58 - Yeah he did if Uriah destroys Adam with he most violent knockout in TUF history I can understand why people would be nervous Phone Post
Exactly. I'm actually almost scared to see what happens. I love a brutal ko, but not one that seriously injures someone. Phone Post

Hall is that future athlete that is coming.  It should be a testament to how great Weidman is to have beaten him already.  But I think Hall has this in the bag, the dude is already a UFC talent.  That is such a drastic mismatch, even when you see old UFC vets banging out in the smaller shows.  They put hurtings on some of these guys who just don't know the game.  Once Hall learns how to use all of that talent, he's got this locked up.  And Sonnen will give that guy a different level of mental toughness.

By all accounts Hall looks like the guy to beat. Almost nervous to watch his fights because I fear what will happen to whoever fights him.

ADAMantium - Didn't Dana say the "Beast" gives people fits mentally and a guy or multiple have nervous breakdowns or panic attacks due to being matched up with him?

Funny as fuck if that happens but if this knock out is that bad I would be shitting my self if i had to fight him too Phone Post

TheFlood58 - I'm pretty sure that Bubba McDaniels (Team Jones) was the guy outside the ambulance and I would think that a team mate would escort his team mate to the hospital Phone Post
McDaniel

No S

Sorry, I don't mean to single anyone out, but this is driving me crazy. Even Johnny Bones puts an S on the end and he frigging trains with him. Phone Post

Obviously its Kevin Casey in the ambulance but I'm sure Uriah Hall is going to destroy Adam in next week's episode. If Uriah didn't get the brutal knockout until the semi-finals then the house wouldn't have been as terrified of him as Dana says. I think he "sleeps" Adam and Kevin both....

kwnel2178 - I like Hall and I think he's going to win TUF, but I don' think he is on the level of guys like Weidman, Anderson, or Bisping. I think he'll be a good mid-level fighter. The only other fighters on the show that might have a chance against Hall are Samman and Barnatt.
Hell anyone can reach that level ge may not be there yet but he only has 9 fights and experience is the best teacher. Only a select few are at that upper tier of talent so early on Phone Post

I was at the Hall Weidman fight. Cageside actually I did play by play. Weidman scored a takedown early on and it's one of the few times I've seen any one get up from underneath him. Hall was able to regain his feet. He had his hands low looking for another takedown and got caught with a right hand that staggered him and after that got pounded out. It was a one punch kind of fight. There was not a huge gap between the two in terms of talent. What Weidman had over Hall was experience. You can't replace the experience of a thousand wrestling matches. Hall has maybe thirty total fights between kickboxing and mma and grappling tournaments. Weidman between wrestling grappling and mma is closer to a thousand. I didn't see Hall's fight with Costa, but by all accounts it was a close fight. I for one am looking forward to seeing if Hall can get a chance to fight those to at the highest level in the future. And I would pay a lot of money to watch a straight kickboxing match between him and Anderson Silva!

If what you say is true then I say give him a year and he will be fighting mid to upper tier opponents he's only 28 then he's hitting his prime and as long as he stays with it can cause a big stir in the MW division Phone Post

I love this type of comment. They are absolutely hilarious. There have been black fighters in MMA since day 1. Some are good, some are average, and some suck. Some will continue to be good, some will continue to be average, and some will continue to suck. There's nothing the least bit "futuristic" about Hall. If anything, he's a throwback.

take it easy with statements like that, let him fight his way and showcase his skills like any one else, dont start matching him up with anderson silva because he knocked some ppl out on TUF.

What statement should I take it easy with? Id love to see a kickboxing match between Hall and Silva? Have you ever seem Hall in straight kickboxing? He tore up WCL. Vets of WCL un UFC, Njokuani, Pat Barry, Wonderboy, Adam Cella and Hall on TUF. lyman Good in Bellator. Hall was best guy in league.

I'm kind of scared to see the knockout too. If it's the craziest KO in TUF history, it must be bad, because I remember when Matt Riddle knocked a guy out in TUF Season 7. That KO was horrifying. I think he broke the guy's jaw and the guy was screaming/moaning in pain on the ground and everybody looked concerned as fuck.
