There was talk at Monday's RAW that one of the reasons The Undertaker didn't make an appearance at the Royal Rumble is because he's not so sure that he will work WrestleMania 29 now. The plan had been for Taker to wrestle CM Punk but WWE officials are still waiting on Taker's decision. There's a feeling among some within WWE that Taker will end up wrestling but the discussion at RAW was they may have to come up with another WrestleMania storyline for Punk.

I'd guess Taker doesn't want punk burying him with his shoot promos. Phone Post

I don't think he needs to work anymore, leave the record how it is and put him into the HOF as a retirement send off. Taker has done it all he doesn't need to wrestle anymore. Phone Post

Either way he is damn near crippled at this point. He needs to walk away while he can still walk.

have him do a surprise walkout at wrestlemania (no announcement or advertisement whatsoever) and all of his wrestlemania opponents he defeated going 20-0 meet him in the ring, along with all of his previous managers he had in his career (paul bearer, brother love).  Let him give the retirement speech and thank everyone in the WWE and the fans.  You get one more Undertaker wrestlemania appearance and an appropriate sendoff for the dead man.

I did my fact checking and found that it is indeed 20-0 at Wrestlemania for UT. So he is undefeated at WM. however that is not 20 consecutive WMs. UT did not appear at WM 10. So while he has been in the WWE for 21 Wrestlemanias, he has only appeared in 20. Phone Post

Wrestlemania VII - The Undertaker defeated Jimmy Snuka.

Wrestlemania VIII - The Undertaker defeated Jake Roberts.

Wrestlemania IX - The Undertaker defeated Giant Gonzalez.

Wrestlemania XI - The Undertaker defeated King Kong Bundy.

Wrestlemania XII - The Undertaker defeated Diesel.

Wrestlemania 13 - The Undertaker defeated Sycho Sid.

Wrestlemania XIV - The Undertaker defeated Kane.

Wrestlemania XV - The Undertaker defeated The Big Boss Man.

Wrestlemania X-Seven - The Undertaker defeated Triple H.

Wrestlamania X8 - The Undertaker defeated Ric Flair.

Wrestlemania XIX - The Undertaker defeated The Big Show and A-Train.

Wrestlemania XX - The Undertaker defeated Kane.

Wrestlemania 21 - The Undertaker defeated Randy Orton.

Wrestlemania 22 - The Undertaker defeated Mark Henry.

Wrestlemania 23 - The Undertaker defeated Batista.

Wrestlemania XXIV - The Undertaker defeated Edge.

Wrestlemania 25 -The Undertaker defeated Shawn Micheals.

Wrestlemania XXVI - The Undertaker defeated Shawn Michaels.

Wrestlemania XXVII - The undertaker defeated Triple H

We would need to dig up Giant Gonzales and Ray Traylor. The rest would actually be rather easy to get back, as all of them have actually been in a WWE ring in the past 5 years, except for Snake, who could get a hall pass from DDP.

That would be badass, but they should wait until the technology is ready to bring the dead people back as well.

I hope we are being worked. UTs matches are the ones I look forward to at WM. But there is something to be said about going 20-0 and leaving it like that. Regardless, he deserves a Ric Flair like sendoff. Phone Post

A source close to the backstage situation regarding The Undertaker's involvement for WrestleMania 29 has told sescoops.com that The Phenom is "less than 50 percent for WrestleMania" which has left the creative team unable to present a "grid" (long term story plan) to seniors in WWE such as Vince McMahon and Triple H. As of this report 'Taker is not medically cleared to wrestle with one member of the creative team telling saying "this is going down to the wire, and members of the team actually joke that we'll find out on the Internet about Taker before we're told definitively here!"

Seems like the closer it gets to Wrestlemania, more, and more people are going to be on the edge of their seats waiting to see if he actually IS going to wrestle...

Imagine showing up like a week before on RAW to annouce it.

Could possibly make this year the most watched of all time....

UT had the perfect send-off last year. They have Rock, Cena, Brock, and Punk to carry the buy rates this year. No need for UT to come back.

I would think him not being medically cleared means he should not wrestle?
