8 men enter, one man leaves. Old school one night kickboxing tournament with the winner taking home $50K and moving one step closer to a contract with Glory. Somebody's gettin jacked.

Hard Rock Casino - Tulsa, OK.

Collette lost to Dustin Jacoby in the finals of the tournament. Collette won his first 2 fights by KO including one in which a guy convulsed and had to be carried out.

Tournament winner Jacoby had a vicious jab and very accurate powerful hands. He started out the night with a tko of Randy Blake who was considered the favorite.

In other highlights, Codale Ford beat Zach Kelly by arm triangle.

Jordan Gaza beat Kathina Catron by rnc in the 2nd. Gaza had a very tight BJJ game that never allowed Catron to get her striking game going.

In a very bizarre fight - Cody Pfister beat Ed Cline by decision. I was surprised by the decision as Ed controlled the takedowns and had several close sub attempts. Also Pfister had a point deducted for going out of the ropes. A big portion of the fight took place with both guys going through the ropes. I was personally very disappointed that they never went completely through the Spanish announce table. Phone Post

They overturned the decision in Ed's fight. Now it's a draw. Apparently 1 of the judges didn't take away the point deducted from Cody, and when that got corrected after the fight, it added up as a draw. They're set to rematch in April from what I understand. I was highly surprised Kevin Nix didn't take another point away. He took 1 point when Cody continued to scoot himself under the ropes and out of the ring to avoid bad positions. He needed another point taken because he held onto the ropes countless times each round. Bizarre fight indeed.

I was not aware they overturned it. It will be a good rematch. I will say this, both guys were humble on the mic afterwards and showed class with the decision. Phone Post

I wondered why nix never puts them In the position they was in, when they go out of the ropes in. InsteAd he stand them up, does he not understand this is mma. Not boxing with 4 oz gloves. Some people just need to understand and respect the sport, it looked really ridiculous sanding them up every time they went out and he stands them up, it's obvious they both wanted to be on the ground. Shit like that pisses me off, if u want to ref boxing go fuckin ref boxing. Phone Post

Kevin Nixs skills as a ref are beyond reproach.

If these LIES happened.... Then Kevin had a good reason!

Make those cowards fight on their feet like real men, perhaps?

Either way, you leave Kevin out of this Phone Post

Agree with Grecoking even in the rules meeting the ref in the event of a re-start it would be from the last position. There was a couple of times if that would of happened the fight would of been over and Cline the clear winner. Another view when he would stand them up why let them start in the conner where clearly it was going to end up out of the ring. In a cage i dont see Cline for sure not winning.

cline looked like he either didnt train or smoked a boxof cigs that day. his shape was emberassing. he just basically stood there and waited on pfister to take the fight to him so he could double him out of the ring ad start over.

let rob wood or chad leonhardt have the wionner of that fioght and either guy leaves with the belt!
