Wrap athletic tape around the bar. Your gripping becomes much, much more secure. They last long, too.(My dumbbells have been wrapped for 15 years now).
If that is not enough, consider getting some work gloves with rubber surface.(Shope carefully. Remember to purchase one size smaller) Combined with athletic tape, the bar sticks to your palms like glue.
