Nope. It used to be though, back when the art included finishing holds. Martial means military as in you know, fighting. Judo (Olympic style) is coming close to not being real martial art anymore either.

When you could finish in wrestling, it was a martial art (see catch wrestling) now? Not so much Phone Post
