Oh I think so.  Overeem's never been a great distance striker, and that's all JDS knows how to do.  He won't be able to fuck JDS up in the clinch, and he'll be forced to stand and trade.

I like JDS's striking, chin and cardio better than Reem's, so I think we'll see Alistair drop two straight.

The only thing that REALLY makes sense now is Cain vs DC. Too bad it won't happen...

I can dig that. Would rather see him vs. Jones though

IMO you always need to have a viable plan B. They make these fights where they're banking on one guy winning

It's hard in a thin division, especially when the guy with the best claim to be the contender wont fight his friend...

They really need to pull Werdum from his fight w Nog and let him fight Cain instead of BigFoot. Even Bigfoot's manager would rather wait if I remember what I read correctly

This.

Werdum vs Cain and JDS vs Overeem would be epic. Of course I would buy it for JDS vs Overeem alone but why not put on two great fights?

I think Bigfoot has proven that he is never to be underestimated. He shouldn't have beat Fedor. He shouldn't have beat Overeem. But he did. He shouldn't beat Cain in this rematch either but he's proven he has the capabilities to overcome this and Cain has proven that he can get caught. This all makes for an interesting and deserving enough matchup. Plus, this sport DESERVES to have the lineal title unified with the UFC title. That alone is worth making the matchup for me as a fan.

Werdum/Cain would make more sense.

Its 2013 and reality shows are still playing a huge factor in UFC title pictures lol

Completely agree.

Bigfoot earned this one, IMO.

If he gets blown out again, oh well.

Bigfoot has NOT been the most impressive hw lately. He got destroyed by Cain, everyone knows this. He was losing to Browne before Browne tore his leg up. Bigfoot didn't look good against Reem in the first two rounds and lost them both before decided to put his hands down and let BF punch him in the face. Reem looked horrible that fight and was still winning. Props to BF for getting the KO but lets not act like he has been a world beater.

Nucky -

1. UFC can't sell bigfoot vs Cain since Cain left bigfoot stiff in a box just a few months ago...

2. JDS vs Reem i believe will happen.

3. Cain vs bigfoot / JDS vs reem on one card....ya sounds to stacked to be true cool story bro..

Jds left Cain stiff as well he got one win and smashed Jds. Not saying big foot wins but it is a heavyweight fight anything can happen. Cain has a dodgey chin it only takes one punch to change a fight at heavyweight. Phone Post

I disagree and I'm sick of seeing him get shit on.

Bigfoot has the 2 most impressive back to back victories in the division currently, period. Phone Post

Your fucking crazy , we are in a golden age of good heavyweights ! Phone Post
Man I hope this isn't the Golden Age, have you seen the majority of heavyweight fighters?

The top ten is ok but the the rest of them are way way behind in skill, the majority of HW's suck. Phone Post

GTFO with this "he was losing to Browne before Browne tore his leg up" excuse.  The fight lasted 3:27 and Bigfoot landed the better shots throughout that entire time.  Browne did nothing but bop up and down like he was Dominick Cruz (Fightmetric has the punches landed 23 out of 28 [4 in the final sequence] for Bigfoot and 8 out of 19 for Browne).

Thank you for clearing this up with the stats. Some people try to make it out like Bigfoot was getting lit up on the feet before getting the KO, which is not true at all. Phone Post
