I feel like this is going to end up as........the fight cards and main stream things that would normally end up on public TV as of late like TUF will be on Fox Sports 1.

and all the things that i'm really looking for in the extra content that originally had me excited about this thread, will end up on Fox Sports 2........which the majority of us won't have.

I really hope we aren't rounding up the bullshit here again.....

VTFU for the rage! Seriously though there are still going to be fights on FS2 aka Fuel. There are four prelims from the Condit/Kampmann 2 card that will be on FS2.

And also

"Pending the announcement of a rumored "Fight Night" card for Brazil earlier in the month, the Manchester card could become UFC Fight Night 30. Regardless of the numbering sequence, the event will take place Oct. 26 at Manchester Arena. The main card will air on FOX Sports 2 – the sister station to FOX Sports 1, which launches Aug. 17. FOX Sports 2 will be the rebrand from FUEL TV."

So yeah FS2 will still be having live fights and a lot of Comcast customers are still SOL.

OP still selling wolf tickets!

I feel all of your pain. I move into my new place Saturday and I call Verizon on Sunday. I'm also going to email Comcast and tell them exactly why I won't be coming back. I've been a customer for 10 years and 1 channel destroyed my loyalty. Phone Post

I'm not too upset about it, i'd hate to be cliche but I acknowledge what DFW says also when he says 'well how about nobody gets to see the fights'.

Just want an answer right now Fuel, thats all. Maybe an idea of the first couple months of programming for both 1 and 2? so we get a feel for how the content might be for each? My main question if I could only have one answered though........where will shows like Ultimate Insider and UFC Tonight end up? Those are what i'm looking for.

Fox and Comcast Announce Comprehensive Programming Agreement

The new accord provides entertainment, sports and local news to Comcast Xfinity TV customers in and out of the home. The agreement includes FOX Broadcasting and FOX television stations programming in major cities.

Comcast Corporation and Fox Networks (FN) announced today that they have reached an agreement for a new distribution pact to deliver Fox Broadcasting’s (FOX) and Fox Television Stations’ (FTS) wide array of entertainment, sports and local news content to Comcast Xfinity TV customers across televisions, computers, smartphones, tablets, gaming consoles and internet-enabled televisions. The renewal supports the companies’ mutual goal to deliver the most popular video content to customers across multiple platforms.

The agreement provides video service to nearly 22 million Xfinity TV customers of both live and on demand programming from 20 FTS broadcast stations (13 Fox and 7 MyNet) as well as FX, FX Movie Channel, SPEED, FUEL TV, FOX Soccer, National Geographic Channel, Nat Geo Wild, MundoFox, Fox Deportes, and Fox Business Network.

Financial terms were not disclosed. However, the agreement also includes a framework for both companies to continue to collaborate on new multiplatform offerings so that the companies can take advantage of new technologies and programming through the life of the deal, including Comcast’s advanced advertising and ad systems integration services.

Key components of the agreement for Xfinity TV customers, available On Demand and online, include:

  • Episodes from key primetime series on FOX, FX, FX Movie Channel, National Geographic, Nat Geo Wild, SPEED and FUEL TV.
  • One of the largest On Demand offerings of episodes of current seasons available from FOX, FX, National Geographic Channel and Nat Geo Wild, including such popular shows as Glee, Bones, The Simpsons, Sons of Anarchy, Justified, The Americans, Wicked Tuna, Diggers and Alpha Dog, among several others.
  • Dozens of hit movies from FX and the FX Movie Channel, including some of the biggest blockbusters airing on these networks.
  • Access to content on Fox’s websites and applications.

There are also longer-term plans to make available next-day full episode streaming of select Fox programming online to authenticated Xfinity TV customers for viewing whenever and however they wish to access them.

In addition to live and on demand streaming, authenticated Xfinity TV customers will soon be able to access long-form, full episodes on "FOX NOW" – a suite of TV apps across multiple digital platforms that are designed to provide Fox viewers with enhanced interactive and social capabilities around their favorite Fox shows.

"This unprecedented TV Everywhere agreement enables us to take advantage of the innovative technologies and platforms we’ve developed to deliver the best content to our customers," said Greg Rigdon, EVP, Content Acquisition for Comcast Cable. "Together with Fox, thanks to the leadership of Peter Rice, Mike Hopkins and his team, for the first time we are unlocking the value of some of Fox’s best content by making it available to Xfinity TV customers through new applications and devices."

Added Mike Hopkins, President, Distribution, Fox Networks, "Neil Smit, Greg Rigdon and their team are on the cutting edge of the burgeoning ‘TV Everywhere’ space and were great partners throughout this process.  This agreement will bring Fox’s brands and content to Xfinity TV customers on all platforms and we are excited to begin this journey with Comcast."
