mentioned among young champions/fighters? He was barely 23 when he beat MTB, same age as Jones was when he won the belt

Because Aldo had considerably more fights before he hit the spotlight, they didn't point it out, plus the smaller divisions are dominated by younger guys because of the need for high speed and reflexes, whereas the LHW division had been dominated by older guys.

Or it was an oversight.

fair points, but WEC was the elite org for smaller divisions. To win a belt at 23 is still an accomplishment there. I see what youre saying though
