I don't know that it's fair to say Rickson is not a great TEACHER. He may be a great teacher, even if he hardly does it anymore.

There is a difference between being a great teacher and a regularly ACTIVE teacher.

Besides, does anyone here really know how active a teacher he is now? Many may still be seeking out his direct instruction. How many private lessons does he give a month? 1? 2? 10? I have no idea. Do you?

Also, consider this:

"If Rickson teaches Pedro one great little detail, and several of its variations, it might take 1 hour of instruction. Then Pedro teaches over a thousand students that same detail. This might take thousands of hours. Pedro is the man who taught thousands of students, but Rickson is the man who taught the man who taught thousands of students."
