and I think you are right regarding Jay Penn taking a silver. Hell it seems only the 4th bro is the only I can think of that is not known for ever competing (unless it was just on the Hawaiian circuit only).

They're all Jay Penn's.

Personal life

His nickname "B.J." is a shortened version of another nickname "Baby Jay", which itself derives from the fact that Penn is the youngest of his brothers all named "Jay Dee Penn".[79] B.J.'s father, who is Irish and English, named 3 of his 4 children "Jay Dee", while the fourth is Reagan. In order to avoid confusion each of the sons named "Jay Dee" goes by a nickname: "Jay", "Jay Dee", and "Baby Jay".

liquidrob - BJ is obviously better, he won black belt gold, UFC champ, etc...

no one is saying Reagan accomplished more. the folklore is that Reagan has the most potential.

folklore, but you can clearly see in videos of them training together that BJ is leagues beyond Reagan.

ElPulpo - Isn't Reagan supposedly the most naturally gifted of all of the Penn brothers?
How in the world would that be possible with BJ Phone Post

Reagan won a Mundials gold before BJ. Went as a white belt w 6 months of training and took the blue belt gold as he competed up back in the day. BJ straight up says Reagan is better than he is naturally but he doesn't apply himself to be at the upper echelon, he just trains because he likes it.
Won at black belt? Had no idea.

BJ saying that doesn't mean much though its his brother. Phone Post

I don't think Keenan is a white belt, just a faded blue or purple. The video says 2010 right? I'm pretty sure he started training earlier than that. Phone Post

Anyone who trained with the Penn brothers back in the day can tell you they were all really good and got really good fast. JD strongest, Reagan was the innovator, BJ was the hardest working and most focused.

Reagan is over 6 foot, close to as flexible as BJ just as strong and technical, for these reasons many of us considered him the best of the Penns. Reagan at Blue gave many many browns and purples fits and he did it while laughing and joke with you the whole time to trained with him.

He was way more into computers than BJJ. We worked at the same job in Sunnyvale back in the day and Reagan got his all his MS networking certifications in record times and i think he got cisco in record time too. He just didnt apply himself to BJJ like BJ did.
