Pettis would kill Cub, mate.

That Poirier we saw tonight came in on short notice, with a bad weight cut.

I think Cub could definitely catch him with his left hook and hurt him. I'd probably go with Cub by knockout. Phone Post

You'd be winning a lot money then, because Cub would most def be the underdog.

Fight was signed mid December and Poirier replaced Siver a month before the fight, I wouldn't call it short notice, not for athletes. Phone Post

That's short notice. You thinka month is enough time to cut down and train properly for a fight against a top guy like Cub?

It was obvious, Poirier looked like shit, gassed by the 3rd.

Cub has destroyed good strikers as of late, he keeps improving! I'd pick Pettis to win but couldn't count out cub Phone Post

Lol. What. Pettis could just go to the ground he'd have a definite size advantage. Also I don't think he can stand with pettis. Phone Post

Pettis RUINS Cub
Poirier is amazing and one of my favorite fighters, but part of why he's so awesome is his willingness to brawl, and his sometimes porous striking defense. It's fun to watch a dude eat a shot and throw 4 back in retaliation. That plays into Cubs style a bit, as he is kind of the same way.
Pettis, on the other hand, is one of the few defensively gifted fighters in MMA. How often have you actually seen him get hit or take a solid shot? And he favors precision over power. The guy is a sniper.

Cub would lose before the end of the first Phone Post

Somebody get this guy a Rabies' shot. He's already delirious.
