I wish this was for me :(

Buddy of mine wants to put a gym in his new home that he is in presently constructing.
Wants my input on what to put in.

Approx dimensions of the room are 33' 3" X 16'
Keep in mind his wife wants some open space to do yoga/stretching.

Obviously needs a squat rack/cage. Plates, DB's, etc. He will want a cable system, few different pieces of cardio equipment...

So have at it s&c forum. If you could design your dream home gym with top of the line equipment, what would you get? Thanks

Squat rack , kettlebells, heavy bag/stand , versa clmber and dumbell set should be good to go and still have good space available, instead of cables he could always run some trx bands from the rack Phone Post

while the EFS Ultimate setup is quite boner inducing, I prefer the collegiate Rack

because of the (IMO) better integrated plate storage. Also, I prefer to build a lifting platform to fit the place I am in, rather than use a pre-made one.

I'll have to check out EFS. I've liked all the things I've tried or used from Rogue. Thanks for the tip! Phone Post
