Also, the way that Nick fights is very unique in current MMA. He is uber talented on the ground and also standing. His only loss recently was in point fighting.

To call a fighter who has delivered so many amazing and entertaining fights and say he has "nothing" for GSP rubs me the wrong way.

If Nick loses, it will be by decision. No way GSP hurts him standing, and I don't see a sub at all either. GnP is possible stoppage.

I say 10 to 15 pct chance Nick finishes GSP. Same chance Nick gets stopped. 70 to 80 pct chance GSP decision. Phone Post

I have been on the edge of my seat for all of Nicks recent fights. I'm sure GSP will be no different. I want to see this more than any recent GSP fights too. Phone Post

Entreri - WW is the most stacked division in the UFC and his run is certainly amazing. If the Serra fluke loss did not occur, he is the undisputed GOAT.

Even the Serra loss isn't that bad, since he avenged it so violently. GSP is probably the most dominant fighter ever. No one has "imposed their will" upon him for any length of time.

GSP has beaten every man he has ever faced. Considering the amount of time he has been fighting, and the quality of opposition, that's insane. Phone Post

He's the most unappreciated champion in the sport. Fans act as if people like Dan Hardy had anything for him. We're talking about the WW Goat and the 3rd greatest fighter of all-time, Diaz is a good fighter but he doesn't have shit for Georges. He'll be much more appreciated 10+ years from now IMO

This.

But Nick has something for everyone. I would not count him out against anyone, ever. Underdog? Yes. Having nothing to offer? Never against anyone. Phone Post

I can't even think of a fighter remotely close to Georges level he's fought.

Carlos was remotely close. Like area code. Not zip code. Phone Post

Condit's TDD only has to consist of not doing left kicks which George catches and takes him down. He should only throw low kicks with the occasional high kick sprinkled in. His combos are the tits and his blade stance should make him inherently harder to take down. Phone Post

Condit is very good, some of the best technical striking in the entire sport IMO. His flaw similar to Diaz is takedowns tho, I might get flamed for this but I feel Condit is just as active if not more active from his back as Diaz. I mean for a high level CGJJ Black Belt we don't see Diaz doing anything like this against a strong grappler like Kim

Voted Up Masakyst, wasn't even aware of those facts. The man is a true gem, like I said...much more appreciated 10+ years down the road than he is now.

Virtually all of them huh? So GSP beat about 18 #2 ranked fighters? lol No. Impressive record by any standard, but geez, you fanboys really like to exaggerate.

His TDD is higher than Jones'? Is that calculated based on # of TDs defended? Because I'm pretty sure other than his one or two guard pulls, Jones has never been on his back. The rest of those stats are just next level dominance though Phone Post

Nick Diaz got the better of Condit grappling.

So your point is what?

Here are some interesting facts:

GSP finish rate pre-Serra KO - 77%

GSP finish rate post-Serra KO - 30%.

His last finish was against a natural lightweight January 2009.

Pre-Serra nickname was Rush.

He never seems in a "rush" at all now. Needs a new one.

Saku yes, but his prime was in the dark ages with far less fans outside of Japan watching.

And chuck had plenty of haters when he was competing. It really wasn't till after he retired that everyone claims to have loved him. Phone Post
