Hey everyone!  I'm really pleased with my latest project, "The Martial Apprentice," and even more pleased to be offering it for free.  This electronic book is available in 3 formats:

1.  iPad:  Full color, and enhanced with slideshows and video.  The premier experience.

Available as a free download here.

2. PDF:  Full color, and similar to the iPad format, but without the enhanced media.

Available as a free download here.

3.  Kindle:  Text only.

Available on Amazon for 2.99 here.

This book details my introduction to Judo, Aikido, and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, and the adventure of serving as a live in student to a Japanese Jujutsu master.  It will be followed by "BJJ Journey," set for release in 2013, which explores a decade of dedicated Brazilian Jiu Jitsu study, from blue belt to black belt, with video and text to put you in the heart of the action.  It will be a book like no other, and I hope it inspires others to stay on the path of jiu jitsu, which is not an easy road, but well worth the journey.

Cool, thanks. Though the first link isn't a download, just opens it in my browser? Maybe I'm just tech-tarded. I'm on my ipad. Phone Post

Waitasecond, what's the title? Budo apprentice? Martial apprentice? You are tricky!

And slightly confusing. Phone Post

It was originally called "The Budo Apprentice".  The title has been changed on iTunes, but some of the metadata is lagging behind.  I've had a ticket in with Apple to change it for a few days.  Hopefully the description will update soon.

And LOL at " no omo"!

When I went to iBooks it said 'martial' and once it was downloaded it said 'budo'.

Again, no worries.
Zen and the art of archery is a favourite book of mine, and this seems along a similar vein, so looking forward to it.

Thanks for the Free-ness. Phone Post

If I knew how to do an upvote thing, I'd do it

Though I'm not sure what it does.

Sigh. Aikido and the dynamic sphere is probably my favourite martial arts book.

Also, random bump for a free book y'all. Jump in this wagon. Phone Post

Nice read. Roy your traditional MA background and experiences gives your writing a cool serene zen-like quality. It's a cool style - you should write more, even fiction if you find the time.
