Jiu jitsu university by Saulo Ribiero. I've only read up to the beginning of the white belt chapter but it's good so far. I like his philosophies and the way the book is set up. Has anyone read it? Anyone want to share their opinion? Phone Post

It's the best BJJ book ever written IMO.

The layout is easy to follow, the techniques are awesome, it covers things not usually covered in books; i.e defensive posture, replacing guard.

It really is like a BJJ textbook. As someone above me said if you mastered everything found in this book you would have a pretty complete game.

How much of it, if any, is applicable to no-gi grappling?

It's the best book I've looked at so far, granted I haven't seen 'em all though for comparison.

wondering whats next from victory in terms of high level gi

I know eddie and mendalson have something coming

but I heard leo viera had something

plus you have all these beasts out now with interesting games

Id love a transition book

a book that focuses on feints setups and transitions

that would be beautiful

I messaged Caio Terra, when he asked for feedback on 'Modern Jiu Jitsu', saying i'd like to see him do a book: would love to get some really in-depth insight into how he approaches techniques; views on leverage; etcetera.

As JJU greatly informed my mental approach to BJJ, I think a book by Caio could do likewise.
