May have been me.
Warren Ellis is great. Sometimes though you can breeze through his books in like 4 minutes. If you're buying one issue at a time it seems like a rip off, but I said screw it and started reading them more than once.

Planetary seemed like it took forever to finally come out. Something like 4 years for all twenty something issues.

I was wrong. It did take forever (10 years) for 27 issues.

What I love about Planetary, other than everything, is that it managed a very strong ending. Too many works keep going beyond their expiration date, or come up with an ending that leaves you bored or unsatisfied. Planetary ended pretty much perfectly, which is fitting, because it was damn near perfect throughout.

Ellis seems to always have the end in mind which is good... maybe that's why he does so many minis
