great fight, a little frustrating to see Condit give up his reach every time he had Hendricks against the cage. Almost every time it was either a head kick or flying knee lol, gave his body up for a TD. But when he decided to use distance and reach, he was landing nicely.

I thought the fight was close, Condit kept pushing the fight, throwing more variety of strikes. While Hendricks would come throwing haymakers from his hip, they both had some nice moments in the clinch. I don't agree with awarding someone the fight when he secures a takedown and does nothing with it. It's MMA, the judging shouldn't be stopped once someone is on top after a takedown. Condit was working strikes off his back, sub attempts and kept getting up, doesn't make sense.

Hendricks/GSP is interesting, GSP seemed to be gassing towards the end of the 3rd, he was more vulnerable in the pocket as well. Hendricks will be dangerous because of his power, he needs to just keep bringing the pressure and hope he either lands something or wears Pierre down.

By sub attempt do you mean the same failing kimura attempt time after time? There is a difference, in my opinion, between wining a round for a take down with little offence and continuous takedowns for an entire round.

Hendricks had the latter. Phone Post

He didn't do that. He tried to stand and every time he did, Condit would start kicking his ass so Hendricks would take him down. Condit would get right back up and start again. Phone Post
