I don't even expect anything to change in my lifetime with the corruption that exists and who backs that corruption. I'm just living my life doing good by my friends and loved ones and trying to achieve balance in my life.

I'd be happy with a piece or rural land and House, internet and to be left alone by everyone but my friends.

There's a law in Wyoming that the state legislature can only assemble for something like 3 weeks a year and must have other days jobs or they will sit around all the time making unnecessary laws.

This is the most brillliant thing I have heard since I was born.

thebigblastula - "The TEA Party rallied far far more people than the OWS riots. And they committed no crime, and there was no violence. There were literally rape-free zones roped off and protected for people at OWS gatherings. And, the TEA Party rallies resulted in the biggest political swing in American history. I don't think most people consider their small government and fiscal Conservatism to be insane ideas."

LOL you fucking moron. Monson is an ANARCHIST, not a communist. Stonepony is a fucking idiot.
You realize that the word Anarchism is a catch-all term of sorts, right? Moreover, there are many different deviations (some of which contrast greatly) such as, Anarcho-socialism, Anarcho-communism, Anarcho-syndicalism, Anarcho-primitivism, Anarcho-capitalism, and others. Anarcho- capitalism, of which I am proponent, is worlds apart from Anarcho-communism when comes to their philosophies. Phone Post

Truemanc3 - The Lee Harvey Oswald of MMA.

What a cool reference.  I happen to be reading 11/22/63: A Novel by Stephen King right now.

Coincidence?  I think now.

If you haven't lived there, how do you know it's horrible to live there?

Batarnaque - I'll always remember the Monson v. Miletich exchange where Monson was bringing up a ton of valid points, then after a while Miletich just stopped trying to argue and just called him names. Repeatedly. Boy did I lose respect for Pat.

I actually agreed with some of Monson's views, but Miletich just came off as a gigantic self-righteous deusche.

I'll say this, though. Monson is seriously delusional if he thinks Russia is any better than the US. He may have forsaken his country of origin, for wrong and right reasons, but this honeymoon in east europe will soon come to a screeching halt one day or another. That's a GUARANTEE.
Yeah Militich looked bad.

I do not agree with most of Monssons views but he can express them with reasonable eloquence and intelligence. He seems like a dude that at least open to have a normal debat.

I like Pat and respect him a lot but he is very limited in his ability express his views. I disagree with a lot of them as well but that is really besides the point.

Nonetheless actions speak louder the words and cash is king. So it will be difficult for him to take the highroad on political views from now on out.

He can do what he wants by all means but no more anarchistic expression from now on again because lost all credibilty. Phone Post

I don't agree with his views but I have a lot of respect for a person that says this country is shit and does something about it.

Leaving the country to get citizenship somewhere else is the exact opposite of doing something about it.

Neither is spraying Anarchy symbols on monuments.

No it's not, and even the occupy movement didn't have any lasting effect so until someone shows me a movement that can gather a serious amount of support (I mean over a million people on the same page all ready to defend themselves in one rally) I will continue to believe the movement is all talk.

The occupy movement had plenty of lasting effects... They exposed themselves. It was nothing but a bunch of riots, with looting and crime waves, and idiots screaming for handouts.

"WHAT DO WE WANT?!"
"WE'RE NOT REALLY SURE!"
"WHEN DO WE WANT IT?!"
"NOW!"...

10 months of embarrassing themselves everyday on television. There is no movement. It's a bunch of naive children screaming for more government while pretending to want to be free from government.

They're not to be taken seriously. Like Monson as he worships his genocidal dictators.

Voted up.

None So Blind - He might want to consider reading this book and see what happened to a bunch of folks who did it:

http://www.amazon.com/The-Forsaken-American-Tragedy-Stalins/dp/0143115421/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1363699433&sr=8-4&keywords=americans+in+russia

"In 1934, a photograph was taken of a baseball team. These two rows of young men look like any group of American ballplayers, except perhaps for the Russian lettering on their jerseys. The players have left their homeland and the Great Depression in search of a better life in Stalinist Russia, but instead they will meet tragic and, until now, forgotten fates. Within four years, most of them will be arrested alongside untold numbers of other Americans. Some will be executed. Others will be sent to "corrective labor" camps where they will be worked to death. This book is the story of lives-the forsaken who died and those who survived."

This reminds me of something one of my history teachers said when I was a kid.

He told us that something along the lines of 200,000 Americans renounced their US citizenships to become citizens of the Soviet Union during the Great Depression... Of course he failed to mention, and I didn't find out till years later when I looked into it myself, that once you chose that route, the US will almost never give citizenship back to you and the Soviet Union was never going to let you leave.

Vasechkin - Does he have to choose Russia or US?
Can't he have dual citizenship?

No. Russia may allow dual citizenship, but the US does not.

Putin had a laugh at the expense of `that American idiot with the anarchy tattoo when Monson fought over there once before.

Maybe he offered Monson a job as a court jester.

No. Russia may allow dual citizenship, but the US does not.

It must depend on the country. US-Canadian dual citizenship is fairly common.

Or at least it used to be.

thebigblastula - DeadAgain: "I like this part, which shows what an idiot and a child he really is. Trying to tell a Russian that the U.S. was bullshitting about the USSR and acting like the Soviet Union wasn't so bad. What a friggin idiot. Russians don't have the fond memories of the Soviet Union that a spoiled rich brat rebel from the U.S. does. Monson is a fool."

Actually you're retarded, and most Russians look back fondly on the Soviet Union days as much, much better than life in capitalist Russia.

Yes and no...

Older Russians who remember what it was like under the Communist regime mostly do not. The youth, who have no experience living under communism and only know the propaganda about the glory that was the Soviet world power do.

There's convoluted rules to the whole thing... I used to have dual citizenship because I was born in Germany to American parents. Many countries will allow you to have dual citizenship and technically you can in the US as well, but if I remember correctly, you have to be a primary citizen of the other country seeking dual citizenship with the US, not a US citizen seeking dual citizenship with another country.

I used to know the rules better when I had to choose sole citizenship, but it's been a long while...

Actually it's the other way around. Some foreign fighters make Putin look like a clown.

That's Kenny Garner making Putin throw some V's

And here  Monson himself makes Putin stand for couple of minutes listening to his entrance song - Soviet anthem

He's started selling them ever since Fedor and he's doing it pretty damn good - to the extent of becoming almost a national hero in Russia. He even was a guest recently of a prime time TV show on Russian State TV channel
