I fucked up my right shoulder hitting the heavy bag two weeks ago. I got an MRI Wednesday and found out that I have a tear in the bone near the joint, and I have some cysts in my shoulder. This all may require surgery and i'm not sure how long I will be out yet. I've already lost 6 pounds and I would really like to maintain as much of my strength as possible. As I said, it is my right shoulder but i'm left handed. So basically I can't work on my jab or anything. Is there any way I can still train or lift while avoiding injuring it further? Phone Post

If you can do the following shoulder complex without weight and without pain i would then add small amounts of weight at a time.

I did this 3-5 times a day without weight almost immediately after i fucked my shoulder up and it helps a great deal. I do it 3-5 times a week without weight just to keep things flexible and moving.

I'm a lefty.lol. Apparently injuries like this can happen from tons of repetitions. It happened two weeks ago when I had just started boxing again. Phone Post

Try these! I do the 1st & 2nd video every day.

The exercises in the 1st video I do them facing the wall and facing away from the wall.
