Kit Dale's an excellent local product.

Paul Stoylar is pretty damn good too, located in Brisbane. Taps me like a baby.

Both are very good brown belts.

When I first started, you could literally count the number of Black Belts in Australia on one hand.

Now there are seriously dozens and dozens.

BTW, John Will is one the "Dirty Dozen".

If you need to ask what that is, shouldn't be clicking on a bjj thread.

All three based in Brisbane.

Diaz is great. I trained under him at BTC. I know he is a black belt in Australia but not really an Australian black belt. Phone Post 3.0

Really? I have a few BB students at my gym... There are quite a few very good BB's throughout Australia. Especially in Melbourne.

I'm thinking Grant is a BJJ black belt based on the website. I would have to cross him off the list if he's a Japanese JJ bb. I didn't even think of that. I'm almost afraid to email and ask. It would really suck if a priest was not being straight about his background, particularly if he's offering self defense classes.

There's no reference to where he got his belt from on the site as far as I could see. Googling his name only refers you to that site. I think I might shoot an email to find out. Phone Post

I trained with Anthony under Carlos Machado in Dallas, so my guess is that he is a Machado BB. I haven't seen him in many years though.

Anthony is now about a third degree black belt. Always get to his seminars when he's in Brisbane and leave with something really cool. Phone Post
