you guys should really try to get peter debeen. he was training in brasil way before these american gringos were.

in fact, for the longest time he was the only gringo training in gracie barra.

I took a class with John around 2001. Is he still teaching or training BJJ at all?

What do ya'll think of the keep it playful approach that Pete basically said is the way to do it. After hearing him talking about the hardcore training I didn't expect him to flip it like that and how he prefers to train.

Very cool listening to Pete just talk like that. Enjoyed this one a ton. I remember "petethegreek" posting on the nhbgear forum back in the days, I think I need to go back and search some of those old topics if that him posting back then.

I think it's fun to train like a madman until you start to realize that injuries heal slower as you get older. Everyone we interview agrees that you should train according to your goal set. So if you want to train for life you need to take care of yourself. Phone Post 3.0
