Remember lets play a word association here

Look at the verse in Revelation...

Revelation 22:16

"I, Jesus, have sent my angel to give you this testimony for the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, and the bright Morning Star."

ok word association here goes...

Root=Creator...Source...God...Spirit...Master...Strong...invisible...All power...ect JESUS....

OffSpring=Created...Benefit...man...flesh...servant...weak(iflesh)...visible...Temporary limited power(flesh)...ect...JESUS...

So the "Trinity" is one God who eternally exists as three distinct persons, Father, Son, and Spirit, who are each fully and equally God.

Sorry for dragging this out...

MEOWticket -  So one-who-is-three would be right?

John 14:11

Believe me that I am in the Father and the Father is in me, or else believe on account of the works themselves.

John 14:16-17

And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Helper, to be with you forever, even the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees him nor knows him. You know him, for he dwells with you and will be in you. Phone Post

Three in titles. Not in separate persons with their own personality. Just like your self Meow.
I'm gonna use you as an example. I don't know your life.

Meow the Father of his child
Meow the son of his father
Meow the employee of his job.

There's only one person in all 3 of these titles.

1John 5:7
For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.

Notice 1John5:7 states they are 1. Showing there's no separation or distinction.

Now let's read 1John 5:8
1John 5:8
And there are three that bear witness in earth, the spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one.

In 1John 5:8 you see 3 agreeing meaning having personality each to it. Each is separate and distinct. Then it says in 1. Meaning it's 1 Group, team, squad.

God is not a group but 1 person. Jesus.

It's funny stating meow and titles. LOL.

And John bore witness: "I saw the Spirit descend from heaven like a dove, and it remained on him. I myself did not know him, but he who sent me to baptize with water said to me, "He on whom you see the Spirit descend and remain, this is he who baptizes with the Holy Spirit." Meow. It's tough. As with any theology there is verses that support it and verses that don't. When one latches onto a particular theology, they will expound the verses that support their views and gloss over the verses that don't. You see the same thing with Calvinism vs Arminianism, Cessation vs. Non-Cessation, etc.

"monotheism"

I agree 100%

John 3:35

The Father loves the Son and has given all things into his hand.

John 14:31

but I do as the Father has commanded me, so that the world may know that I love the Father. Rise, let us go from here.

Genesis 1:26

Then God said, "Let us make man in our image, after our likeness. And let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over the livestock and over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth."

Genesis 3:22

Then the Lord God said, "Behold, the man has become like one of us in knowing good and evil. Now, lest he reach out his hand and take also of the tree of life and eat, and live forever--"

Genesis 11:7

Come, let us go down and there confuse their language, so that they may not understand one another's speech."

Excellent Scriptures that I could see causing confusing

John 3:35

The Father loves the Son and has given all things into his hand.

The father does love the son...you love your body dont you? When you get hungry you nourish it...you get tired you rest it and when decorate it best as you can with clothes to avoid shame because of it. Right? Gods Spirit never gets tired..never has to rest or feel any infirmaties as far as physical limitations...but when he put upon himself flesh as clothes he quickly understood our dilemma on a first hand basis. The bible says He bore our infirmaties (Isaiah 53) that which is of Spirit is spirit and that which is of flesh is of flesh. God had to lower himself to our glory to fully understand and have true compassion for our sturggles...this is why we are able to be in an age of grace because God himself walked as us and understands through a first hand experience...now through that experience how much more can he have mercy for our tresspasses and understand how to solve our struggles because HE SET THE EXAMPLE AND WAS TEMTPED AS WE ARE WHILE IN THE BODY...if he was never in the flesh and suffered as we suffered how could he even understand our struggles to finda solution...(typing fast at work)...

Father = Spirit...Son = Flesh (remember word association) He puts all judgment into the son God in flesh who can judge rightiously and show for grace and mercy other wise there would no flesh be saved..Gods holy nature demands judgement...with his manifestation in flesh not only does it soften the blow of judgement for those who believe it gives us a way to completely avoid judgment from the Father and have mercy show to us from A Father who walked as a son...or walked in the flesh....and can relate to us now and again have mercy....

------------------------------------------------------------
Genesis 1:26

Then God said, "Let us make man in our image, after our likeness. And let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over the livestock and over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth."

Genesis 3:22

Then the Lord God said, "Behold, the man has become like one of us in knowing good and evil. Now, lest he reach out his hand and take also of the tree of life and eat, and live forever--"

Job 38:4-7

4 “Where were you when I laid the earth’s foundation?
Tell me, if you understand.
5 Who marked off its dimensions? Surely you know!
Who stretched a measuring line across it?
6 On what were its footings set,
or who laid its cornerstone—
7 while the morning stars sang together
and all the angels[a] shouted for joy?

So the angels or the ranking of the morning stars saw God lay the foundation of the Earth and shouted for joy because of His wondrous work....heaven was established...and the host thereof created....THEN the earths foundations where laid... this is why God says us...there was already a vast family in heaven before the earth was even formed...they witnessed Gods amazing handiwork in realtime!!!! WOW...so God is acknowledging His sons..when he says "us" "we" ect...in the genesis account.

------------------------------------------------------------

As for babel same thing...when God visited Abraham at his tents He arrived with two angels....God in inside of his Angels....LORD OF HOSTS...so when He sends an angels he is inside of it like a vehicle...or a temple ect...hope this helps.

Matthew 26:39

And going a little farther he fell on his face and prayed, saying, "My Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as you will."

Mark 14:36

And he said, "Abba, Father, all things are possible for you. Remove this cup from me. Yet not what I will, but what you will."

Luke 22:42

saying, "Father, if you are willing, remove this cup from me. Nevertheless, not my will, but yours, be done."

John 17:1-26

When Jesus had spoken these words, he lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, "Father, the hour has come; glorify your Son that the Son may glorify you, since you have given him authority over all flesh, to give eternal life to all whom you have given him.

And this is eternal life, that they know you the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent. I glorified you on earth, having accomplished the work that you gave me to do.

And now, Father, glorify me in your own presence with the glory that I had with you before the world existed. "I have manifested your name to the people whom you gave me out of the world.

Yours they were, and you gave them to me, and they have kept your word. Now they know that everything that you have given me is from you.

For I have given them the words that you gave me, and they have received them and have come to know in truth that I came from you; and they have believed that you sent me.

I am praying for them. I am not praying for the world but for those whom you have given me, for they are yours. All mine are yours, and yours are mine, and I am glorified in them.

And I am no longer in the world, but they are in the world, and I am coming to you. Holy Father, keep them in your name, which you have given me, that they may be one, even as we are one. While I was with them, I kept them in your name, which you have given me.

I have guarded them, and not one of them has been lost except the son of destruction, that the Scripture might be fulfilled. But now I am coming to you, and these things I speak in the world, that they may have my joy fulfilled in themselves. I have given them your word, and the world has hated them because they are not of the world, just as I am not of the world.

I do not ask that you take them out of the world, but that you keep them from the evil one. They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. Sanctify them in the truth; your word is truth.

As you sent me into the world, so I have sent them into the world. And for their sake I consecrate myself, that they also may be sanctified in truth. "I do not ask for these only, but also for those who will believe in me through their word, that they may all be one, just as you,

Father, are in me, and I in you, that they also may be in us, so that the world may believe that you have sent me. The glory that you have given me I have given to them, that they may be one even as we are one, I in them and you in me, that they may become perfectly one, so that the world may know that you sent me and loved them even as you loved me.

Father, I desire that they also, whom you have given me, may be with me where I am, to see my glory that you have given me because you loved me before the foundation of the world. O righteous Father, even though the world does not know you, I know you, and these know that you have sent me. I made known to them your name, and I will continue to make it known, that the love with which you have loved me may be in them, and I in them."

Did Jesus pray to himself?

Jesus prayed to his eternal Spirit while in the flesh because it is written...

1 Timothy 3:16

And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.

Psalm 65:2
O you that hears prayer, unto you shall all flesh come.

Remember JEsus was God in the Flesh...and was the Word(word made flesh)...He had to fulfill the Word...it was written ALL FLESH would come to the life giving Spirit (God) whose name is JESUS...the Spirit...the Spirit gives life...not the flesh. Jesus was also setting an example when in need always pray. He fulfilled the psalm in practice...

Your pics crack me up it will take more time to address your other scripture but I can when I have more time.

John 3:16-21

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.

For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.

Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.

And this is the judgment: the light has come into the world, and people loved the darkness rather than the light because their works were evil.

For everyone who does wicked things hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his works should be exposed. But whoever does what is true comes to the light, so that it may be clearly seen that his works have been carried out in God."

1 John 4:7-21

Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God. Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love.

In this the love of God was made manifest among us, that God sent his only Son into the world, so that we might live through him. In this is love, not that we have loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.

No one has ever seen God; if we love one another, God abides in us and his love is perfected in us. By this we know that we abide in him and he in us, because he has given us of his Spirit.

And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent his Son to be the Savior of the world. Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God. So we have come to know and to believe the love that God has for us.

God is love, and whoever abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him. By this is love perfected with us, so that we may have confidence for the day of judgment, because as he is so also are we in this world.

There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear. For fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not been perfected in love. We love because he first loved us.

If anyone says, "I love God," and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen cannot love God whom he has not seen. And this commandment we have from him: whoever loves God must also love his brother. Phone Post

1 Corinthians 8:5-6

For although there may be so-called gods in heaven or on earth—as indeed there are many "gods" and many "lords"— yet for us there is one God, the Father, from whom are all things and for whom we exist, and one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom are all things and through whom we exist. Phone Post
