Awesome thread. Only thing that is wrong is Vitor Belfort is ranked number 2 in the UFC rankings behind Weidman. Maybe he is ranked number one in another websites rankings. Phone Post 3.0

GodSaveTheReem - He tried many times, but ended up pulling guard everytime

He successfully pulled guard several times against Jon. If two people are standing and one wants the fight to be on the ground and he pulls guard and takes it there it's a Takedown.

Also a guard pull isnt a takedown.

Thats why you get no takedown points if you pull guard in bjj. If your trolling, well played sir. Phone Post

Exactly what I was about to write. Interesting read, and a great idea overall, but he landed more than 7 punches on Wand. I was trying to replay it in my head, when I read that. I couldn't see how it was only 7. Glad my memory served me well. Phone Post

MDF tm - They had a promo back in the day for a vitor fight and it was like "17 punches in 5 seconds!" Then they'd show this clip of him koing wand. Phone Post 3.0

It's so bizarre to me, that people see this fight, and then see his very next fight against Sakuraba, and not realize it was a blatant work. Look at Vitor's striking. His strength, and his grappling.. taking on the "legendary striker" Sakuraba, yet being timid as a mouse. "Mundus vult decipi", the world wants to be deceived.

A blatant work? V hit him so hard with a million punches. Anyone of those could have KO'd Sak. He gave up plain and simple. He did it the 2x against overeem and once against randy n their 3rd fight.
