I see lots of talk about whether he should fight Jones or Anderson for a title shot...

it makes me wonder how much MMA fans pay attention - he cant fight in the U.S, the UFC will never allow someone who cant fight in the U.S challenge for a title.

Of course he could fight in the US. Training camp in Brazil and then show up in Vegas few days before the bout, weigh-in, fight and piss in the cup.

OP is implying that no athletic commission would grant him an exemption for testosterone.. I think Kizer is on record saying that.

I'm not that familiar with TRT but couldn't he do TRT in Brazil and then quit taking it few weeks before the bout and be within normal range?

Wasnt UFC 134 a PPV? Surely they could do TRT Vitor vs Anderson on a PPV there. Apologies if incorrect

Yes. but athletic commissions would want to monitor his levels outside of competition to make sure that he's not abusing it.

I really need to find that Kieth Kizer quote; he covered all of this and basically stated that Vitor wouldn't be granted a therapudic use exemption due to his prior steroid use.. so that either means NO testosterone at all, or no fights in Nevada.

Problem is, if he wins and becomes champion, they have a champion that won't get sanctioned in certain places.

With the way his last few fights have went there is a good chance he could win against AS unless he freezes up. The brass won't risk it Phone Post

Kizer has publicly said he wont get a TUE, in the U.S the major commisions dont step on each other

Just because Nevada may not license him doesn't mean the rest of the country won't. Kizer doesn't run the world MMA commission. Texas, Florida, New Jersey or California maybe, Canada, Europe are all plenty of options. I don't get how so many people don't get this.
If Vitor was DENIED a license application THEN the other AC's would follow, but he'd actually have to be denied first. Solution, don't apply for a license in Nevada. Phone Post 3.0
