appreciate the response. It just seemed odd at the time when you pay for a fight and its just called a no show. Thanks

Thank you for the response. I agree, not much you could have done... just me being disappointed more than anything. That was the one fight I ordered for. I will make the 3 hour trip to watch dannys next fight. I will not use that PPV company again.

Ryan Kelly ( 185+5 ) vs Daniel Madrid ( 185+5 ) RITC MW Championship

Note: Daniel easily made weight last night at 187 lbs.

The fans have a very bad taste because Daniel's opponent last night was a no show.

Can you assure me that you will do EVERYTHING in your power to make this fight happen on Aug 10th ?

Thanks, John

So I will be fighting Daniel Madrid the 10?

My questions ... his answers from someone in Hawaii who watched the show. Any replies to the same 5 questions ?

A couple of questions if I may.

1. How was the quality of your stream ? On my iPad the sound kept breaking up but n my PC the sound was clean. The picture quality could improve but for ten bucks it was worth it. There was also a moment during the under card when the streaming was not coming in almost missed Kyle's fight would have had to ask for a refund.

2. Did you enjoy the OVERALL show. Yes good show enjoyed it

3. Was the pace of the show, other than the intermission scheduled for 15 minutes and it took 25, fast enough for you. Yes I like how the announcer calls the fighters to the cage then introduces them in the cage. The fights moved at a non stop pace I liked that even better than the UFC and a lot better than the local fights here. I really hate lulls especially when you have a huge card like you did.

4. Any strong points worth mentioning ? I like the commentators seemed to know the sport and made some great comments about the no contest ( the nut shot fight dude should have been disqualified). I know that is the commission and not you but a foul is a foul.

5. Any weak points work mentioning ? There was one point in the fight when the forgot to go back the the fight had sound but no picture just the RITC and GFL logo. One camera angle come on dude they need more cameras at least two one behind each corner. The no show fighter very unprofessional that was weak but,I like how you covered it up. With such a huge card it didn't really matter. There was a fight here on Maui when the main event cancelled it was horrible kept selling tickets knowing main event was cancelled need less to say they never came back

That was bs on the no contest!!! Ref comes up after the second shot and says one more I'm dq'ing him. It happens again and ref asks corner what do u want to do? Wtf. Other than that, pretty smooth running night. Except for a guy never coming back after weigh ins.. Ugh

Hi Chris

the only reason the bout was declared a NO CONTEST rather than a DQ is some Commission members thought the third low blow wasn't low. I asked the stream guys and they said it was close.

The first foul occurred directly in from of me and the sound was strike to the cup.

The second and third low blows had no sound and my view was blocked. When you watch the replay watch the 3rd "low blow" ( if you can see it ) and tell me if it was low.

The other fighter clearly acted like it was a legitimate strike.

Not defending just saying ... the rationale for the NC

The ref is supposed to tell them what it is in that situation. BC he is the one DQ the guy, not the commission. My issue is w a ref not following through w his words. The same dick swinging, screaming ref trying to act like he was the captain of everything that night, and then completely faltering when he's put in that spot. I do thank you for explaining the commission step in, though they shouldn't of ever had that leverage in that situation. They don't step in when a fighter is deducted a point. This was all on that ref. It is the refs call to DQ a fighter, not a commission.

Roop v Garcia match up in Ohio in 2010.

Roop had been warned for a low blow. Later Garcia reacts to a clearly clean kick, grimacing and hold the "family jewels". The ref deducts a point and Roop ends up with a draw instead of a win.

George asked me for suggestions. I suggested, with this clear evidence, he petition the Ohio Commission to review the tape. The Commission wouldn't even do that and quickly dismissed this petition based on it was a judgement call by the ref.

It's a tough situation in which the FIGHTER calls the foul not the referee.

I believe only ONE time have I seen a ref say "fight on" when a fighter was calling an eye poke which this ref deemed a punch not an eye poke. It's very tough for a ref to say "fight on" and not call time when one fighter is in a fetal position.
