Ive owned probably a dozen gis. I just bought a Hyperfly and Im really liking it - a lot. I cant speak to its durability because its still new, but I really love the fit of it. One of the best fitting gi Ive ever owned.

I also have a manto. I thought I loved it until I bought the hyperfly. but its still a good one.

I'm about your size. Finding a proper fitting gi has been a nightmare. Fuji A4 shrunken in drier had been the best so far. Phone Post

I've had this problem in the past too, and don't have a great answer.  I'm 6'1", 170-175 ish.  Tall and thin.  Most A-2's fit great when I first get them, then the second they shrink at all, the sleeves are too short, and the bottom of the pants just cover my kneecaps.

Then I go to an a-3 and the jacket swallows me, sleeves go past my fingertips.  Pants are so long I step on them...but once the whole thing shrinks it's "ok" I guess.

Somewhere out there is a gi review site that has a section gi's made for tall and thin people....but honestly, I remember reading that and not really finding much choice there either.  I think it praised a Lucky gi -- which are typically out of stock (at least in my experience)

I just created a thread about an awesome gi (the best looking one out there) that has a rashguard liner, too.

check out www.enzokimonos.com

If you buy today they are giving away a free rashguard and pair of shorts with your order (today only.)

You're very similar to me in body.

Ctrl industries, a2t will probably fit like a glove.

Shoyoroll a3s

Fuji a3, you have to make sure you don't shrink it, cold water wash amd hang dry only

Are the ones that fit me real well. Phone Post

I find it incredibly annoying when gi companies have "size charts" that list the gi measurements, but not what estimated body sizes it fits. It makes it much harder for me to even consider the brand because I have to research more into what various measurements are in other sizes so I get an idea of how what I am buying will fit. For example, with Lucky Gi, their size chart lists every possible measurement, except telling me what size person each gi typically will fit. This size chart is useless to me:

I used to think the same thing, but I realized that it was much more accurate to have the real sizes. You would just have to measure the important areas of a gi that you already have that fits well, and compare them to the chart. And if your going to spend $100+ on something, the extra 5 min to measure is prob worth it.

every time I try a new gi it fits like shit.

I always go back to Gameness. Im 6'5" and 220.

Although I just bought a new Gameness Peal that fits a little bigger in the toro than my others for some reason. Fittings for tall guys are a crap shoot it seems.

But im usually pretty happy with Gameness.

Shameless plug time!

We're not there yet, but we're getting close. Check us out on Facebook at LankyFG. I am in the process of testing our first gi. Shirts and Rash Guards should be available soon. We're looking to provide the solution for players who are tall and thin with longer arms and legs.

All gis will be available in Tall/Slim sizing, rash guards will be cut longer to keep from coming untucked, shirts will be fitted with a slimmer cut so as not to be too baggy.

Twitter and Instagram @LankyFG for updates and product pics

The Diaz Lucky Gi's are solid!

You could also check out:
http://www.ossclothing.com/shop/oss-kimono-v-1-0w/

They offer a long size.

I think, historically, Keikos are good for long arm people, too.
