That is his new contract. It is a false rumor that he wanted to wait to renegotiate. Dana confirmed that contract was signed right BEFORE the Anderson fight.

How on earth are scrubs on the undercard making MORE than the number 1 contender, fighting for the championship, in the main event.

The UFC is a joke.

Thanks for posting, I'm happy to see Frankie Edgar make that much, not to mention that he got another 50 grand for FOTN.

Wow...so if Frankie fights 3x per year and wins, + PPV points if he gets them, he's clearing $1 mil. That's awesome.

Zed Wayne Zed - The guys walking them to the cage probably make $48,000 in yearly salary.

Arianny is making huge money.
Goldberg is making huge money.
Rogan is making huge money.
Dana tips $10,000 at the steak house.

PAY THESE F'N FIGHTERS WAY MORE.

I like the UFC product, but this "everyone else is above the fighters thing" is totally ridiculous.

And fighters, stop being so afraid to speak up.
You're tough guys, don't ball shrivel in the faces of your bosses.

Fighter pay won't go up until there is a clear #2 promotion and Zuffa has to compete financially for talent. Fighter pay hasn't gone up because Zuffa doesn't have to.

This is the model the fighters need to bring to the UFC for pay comparisons.

It's no secret that it pays to be a Wimbledon champion, but it may surprise you just how much.
The prize money has increased by roughly 40 percent this year at the All England Club. That increase as well as the 2013 purse are the biggest in the history of professional tennis, according to Wimbledon officials via Christopher Clarey of The New York Times.
The biggest difference in prize money will be seen with the early-round losers, who will make nearly twice as much this summer than they would have a year ago.
Below we'll take a closer look at the prize money players will be receiving at the All England Club in 2013.

All information courtesy of Wimbledon.com. U.S. conversions are rounded to the nearest whole dollar.

Gentlemen's and Ladies' Singles Prize Money for 2013

Winner 2,437,600
Finalist 1,218,800
Semi-finalist 609,400
Quarter-finalist 312,318
Last Sixteen 159,968
Third Round 95,981
Second Round 57,893
First Round 35,802
Total Per Event 13,083,818

Remember Todd Duffy?

No fighter in the UFC is going to complain about their pay; they will end up getting cut the first chance Dana gets.

Please somebody explain how the entire payroll is not as much as HBO boxing headliners make. Such as Berto - DFW said it was tending over 800k ppv buys. That's big big numbers. Peanuts is right -

That doesn't even consider the massive amounts of money from the global television deals they already have in place. It's honestly disgraceful that anyone would pretend this is fair pay for Anderson or Weidman or Frankie. If Berto can make 3-4 mil a fight AS should make at least 5 in prize money. He's 10 Times the star. Phone Post 3.0

Yeah, but they are rumored to get big "back room bonuses" and it's also been said that Dana takes care of some of them if he likes them. At least this is the defense I've heard of any criticism of the fighter's pay.

I'm guessing that prelim fighters might also be offered a few bucks to wash one of the Ferraris from time to time.

GSP24 - Rich Franklin's salary as MW champ was 13k/13k and that was during the time when they didn't give out PPV %.

Point being, Weidman's current contract ends after 2 more fights. He'll then get a good jump in pay. As champ, he's getting PPV % now too. He's on his way. Phone Post 3.0

Do you have a source that confirms that divisional champs get a PPV percentage? I'm pretty sure it has nothing do to with whether or not you are champ. It's more about how big of a draw you are, and that is written into the contract.

I assume Chris doesn't have that in his contract at this time.

They had some nice payouts on this one. Anderson is their biggest draw, so it is easier to afford a card like this with him on it.

UFC champ also gets a car, being Weidman is from Long Island on sure he's going with the new M3.

During the tailgate party Frankie pulled up in his m3. A bit of a show off. Phone Post 3.0
