Please understand that a top-25 list is not at all subjective. In fact, getting something incorrect on a top 25 list is a sign of Pride fanboy nut huggery, or Zuffa shillery, or stupidity and ignorance, or, mostly likely, all of them.

With that understanding in mind:
How many of these fights have you missed?
What fights do you think are missing?
What fights do you think are out of order?

I would have to agree with fedor vs. crocop, both guys in their prime and killing the competition.

That fight was epic.

War Machine-Jroc?

Good list, but a lot comes down to personal opinion. Still one of my top 5 all time is Ruas-Varleans. I got a stern talking to about how there were no leg kicks in TKD about a week later. Phone Post

I get why Randy/Syliva is on there, but if that fight happened under different circumstances or even with different fighters, it wouldn't be on any top lists. Just the fact that Randy came out of retirement and leveled Sylvia with that first punch is why most people love that fight. But really he just took him down and GnP'd him for 5 rounds.

Randy vs Big Nog was a way more action packed fight, imo.

Too many diff factors to mix. Hendo/Shogun had none of the importance as well as build up as Fedor/CC. Hendo/Shogun was more of a "war" though....

Sak/Royce is too low though. Its the most epic fight of all time. The build up. The changing of the guard. The antics by Sak in his entrance and in the fight. The flying pass to punch. The throwing of the towel. Sak shaking Helio's hand....

Smith V. Sell didn't even get honorable mention? That list is automatically ridiculous, just because of that.

And War Machine V. Rollins has to be on there somewhere too.

Oh yeah, and I'll probably lose all my "ups" because how dare you be objective when talking about a Fedor fight.

But there's no way in the world Fedor V. Cro Cop should be number 1. In 03 when everyone thought both were completely unbeatable it'd of been one thing. But after losing to Nog and Randleman the years prior, that fight lost a lot of it's luster.

Seems like a lot of lesser known guys are being ignored. Don't think there's a single prelim/undercard bout on that list.

Someone else said it above, but a few of these have to do with the circumstances surrounding them and less about the fight.

And yes, definitely some Pride nuthuggery going on.

I'd add:

Bermudez/Grice
Gomi/Kawajiri
Fedor/Rogers
Torres/Mizugaki
Hendo/Bisping
KZ/Poirier
Wand/Le
Hendricks/Condit
Liddell/Tito 1
Penn/Sanchez
Lauzon/Varner
Lauzon/Miller
GSP/BJ 1
Sanchez/Parisyan
Silva/Stann
Huerta/Garcia
Diaz/Parisyan
Misaki/Santiago
Alvarez/Kawajiri

that fight was 60 minutes long too.

it is easily the greatest fight in MMA history.
