THANK YOU. UG'ers remember the late nights and early mornings, when JMMA brought out the hardcorps? Shooto B League to the Pride's pageantry. Baroni dropping in threads. Wolfman drop some knowledge.

Heard that most of the pre-sale tickets were sold out a couple of days ago and called the venue about an hour ago and they said they had heavy lines already formed up for ticket sales there.

should be close to a packed house.

http://www.valetudojapan.com/taiyo-hayashi-vs-yuji-kurakane/

First fight up

Taiyo Hayashi vs Yuji Kurakane 64 kg (141.1 lbs) - 3 x 3 Minute Rounds

38 year old Yuji Kurakane has closed distance pretty quickly in the opening seconds of the bout and has Hayashi held up against the cage.  Ref breaks them up and kurakane closes the distance again and continues controlling hayashi against the cage.

end of the 1st round - Kurakane controlled most of the match with Hayashi held up against the cage. Hayashi was able to work in some nice knees and break away towards the end of the round though and Kurakane comes into round 2 much more tired for his efforts.

Kurakane tries to take Hayashi down, but looks super fatigued and Hayashi starts to pepper him with strikes, another failed takedown attempt by Kurakane and now hes pulling guard with Hayashi coming on strong.

Ref steps in quickly and ends the match - sadly didnt get official time

Totally missed this fight - But Ito was able to get a quick armbar and finish Kajikawa who fought pretty heroically with his arm extend out.

3rd fight
Sawada is all over Takahashi and pops a beautiful 5-point throw (suplay) towards the cage.

yeah, the armbar was pretty sweet.

Anyway I can't seem to get sound, had it earlier.

Also, Nico Video wasn't able to process my attempts to purchase the event, but I'm still watching it. Is it free in North America, or just the prelims?

Interesting! Apparently the prelims are free...wish they had announced that before hand and yeah sounds been popping in and out over here too so some issues on the production end with skyperfect's team.

Sorry missed out on this full match too - Sawada was just all over Takahashi but couldnt finish him. All three judges score it 30-27 Sawada

kingcillo24 over on sherdog forums brought up a good point on the audio. they might be killing the walk-in music to avoid copyright issues and dominating round for Matsumoto, who had ura pinned against the cage for most of the 1st round.

Ura coming in a little stronger in the opening seconds of round, trying to keep it standing but is taken down by matsumoto again near the cage.
