If Gil fails to win the title there has to be a rematch.

Put this as the headliner on a free tekevused event, 5 rounds, make bank. Make it happen UFC..

No more fucking rematches, unless they are necessary. The awesomeness of that fight should exist on its own and not be tarnished by an over-hyped rematch that won't deliver. Too many examples in which this happens to bother listing

Generally I agree with your points but I'm making an exception here.

Honestly, do you have any doubt that Gil and Diego won't throw everything they have at each other again? That either of them will do anything less than throw down until one of them drops?

As for Diego, consider he was coming off a long layoff. On his best day he doesn't beat Gil but he may just fare better the next time. Give Gil the title shot and if he comes up short, why not?

These Just Bleeders need to die.

It was great but one sided excluding one exchange in the last 30 seconds of the fifth

I disagree. There was a deep cut on Sanchez and there was a clear winner. No need for rnds. 4&5. One of the fights of the year. Congrats to both fighters.

word.

plus Gil won fair and square.  It was 2 rounds to 1.  Let Gil move on for a bit...
