at hvwt of course..we all know jones has excellent wrestling and he throws very awkward strikes from all angles..problem is, could he land on Cain and could he keep up the pace that Cain does?i think Jones would do beter than JDS because at least jones has the wrestling to make it interesting instead of a grind against the cage..

I don't think so. I think Cain would just overwhelm him, like he has done everyone else, but hey...I would certainly watch it!

Anyone has a chance but I doubt jon jones would be the one. The right combination mental/physical shape with right game plan and a touch of pure luck is what it will most likely take. Phone Post 3.0

Cain wins every time with a good gameplan. But I'd still pay to see it Phone Post 3.0

Jones actually has a 7 1/2" reach advantage over Cain. Having said this, could Jones deal with Cain's power - particularly his punching power, aggressiveness, and wrestling acumen? I don't know.

Jon Jones could easily make heavyweight. I'd like to see this fight happen.

Gonna take another wrestler with one punch power, Jones does not have that.

Its easy to say hell no after seeing the Gus fight but lets not forget Jones won and he still has height and reach on Cain and he has good wrestling. As someone said, we'd have to see Jones grow comfortably into the 230/40 range he can as well. Until then Cain is the undisputed man at HW.

I like how Gus who has a completely different style than Cain makes people say it's not possible. What did Jones do to every other wrestler? Now let's make him Cain's weight with a reach advantage. Cain would be favored, but let's not act like Jones doesn't have a chance. One elbow either way could change that fight.

Cain would not muscle a 240 pound Jones, not happening..he may out-cardio him but i have yet to see anyone come close to overpowering Jones..JDS was obviously stronger than Cain but coulkdnt escape the clinch, Jones is great in the clinch..

good call on Gus vs Cain, great fight...Gus would def present problems with his great tdd and good striking..plus, gus constant movement would give Cain fits..

id love to hear Jones comment on what or how he would do against cain..

People don't realize when Jones goes HW he's not going to be 220-225, he's going to be like 240, bigger and more powerful.

As a Cain and Jones fan, yes Jones can take that fight if he puts on some size. He will be HW champ. Phone Post 3.0

Jones wouldn't just walk into the heavyweight division. He would bulk up considerably and I think he would beat Cain.

I think it would be a great matchup. Don't know why anyone would think Cain would steamroll Jones, although he'd be the favorite. He's faster and hits harder. Not sure who would get the takedowns, if either could get the other down at all. I don't think Cain would manhandle Jones in the clinch like he did JDS; in fact I think Jon is probably better there than Cain is.

Depends if Jones puts the potentially extra 60 lbs to got use or not. He could be a freaking huge HW if he bulked up correctly. Phone Post

Jones fights smart unlike JDS. Jones can actually keep the fight from the outside and out point Cain. The clinch is where JDS suffer the most. Jones has a good chance to beat Cain there or at least makes it close.

Can never count out Jones. Phone Post

240lbs is far too much weight for him to put it in one fight. I see Jones figthing in the low 230lbs and maybe slowly gaining a few pounds with every fight to test how his speed and cardio are affected.
