Just saw the fight and have avoided the boards until now.

I disagree with the decision. But a huge tactical mistake by Hendricks to let him up in the fourth when he was hurting Georges badly. He could've had the stoppage. Phone Post 3.0

GSP was (like his protege Rory) using his ground game to stall and recover. Hendricks smartly recognized this and brought the fight back to where he was hurting GSP the most. It was smart, not a "huge tactical mistake".

What? Completely different situations and an inaccurate read of what happened.

George was getting blasted on the bottom and Hendricks hurt him as much there in 60 seconds as he did the whole fight on the feet.

Robbie was killing Rory in the standup and doing nothing on the ground.

Did you even watch the fights? Phone Post 3.0

I did. And again, Hendricks saw that he could hurt GSP more standing than on the ground. Yes, he was landing significant GNP, but he wasn't close to finishing him. He let him stand in order to attempt to knock GSP out, which was a good decision.

Don't overreact, guy.

^^ wait. What if by forgoing the GnP he also let a potential stoppage slip away. It what if he hurt GSP enough that he got the stoppage in round 5 or won round 5?

The point is not that he won the round either way. Phone Post 3.0
