I keep having lower back spasms. I couldn't even get out of my car. What gives? Anyone ever get this? It didn't happen while I was lifting but I have to believe they're related. Phone Post 3.0

The quickest way to up your grip strength, is to drop the straps. Don't ween off, just quit using them. Burn the fuckers. Phone Post 3.0

I took a video. It was sort of unplanned. I kinda jacked up my wrist trying to pause press 525 on Sunday so I planned on going light. My buddy just kinda suggested I try 315 for max reps. I maybe could've fought through a few more. I'll post the vid when I get home tonight. In the next couple of weeks I'm gonna try 225 for 50. I don't think I have the stamina for that many reps of anything but I'll give it a shot. Phone Post 3.0

LiftorDie is who inspired me to leave straps at home with his no strap deadlift video. He helped me get where i am now
And yes. Before I decided to compete I always used straps. When I quit using them it dropped my DL from 585 to 455...big drop. I'm just now back up around 600 and that was about a year and a half ago. If I knew how much work it took to get back to where I was I would've dropped them sooner. If you don't plan on competing, then by all means use them and get cock diesel strong, but if you wanna compete, stop using them now. Phone Post 3.0

Thanks buddy. And btw the one armed dude still lifting is why I love the gym. There's a guy in a wheelchair who comes to my gym. He's crazy strong. Whenever some kid comes up wide eyed asking me about my lifts and stuff I always point to him and say that's the guy you should be admiring. I was blessed with an abnormally large body, he was blessed with an abnormally large heart. He wins. Phone Post 3.0
